  1. Past hour
  2. This would help with Easton Royal lol
  3. I know it will never happen, but lane and the lsu admin are just stupid enough to force the issue.
  4. Just staggering to see how little talent FSU has, Even in the darkest Charlie Strong lose to Kansas years Texas still had talent on the field
  5. Wow. I didn’t know Georgia was broke like that
  6. ESPN overlords will never let it happen
  7. https://awfulannouncing.com/college-football/georgia-football-fans-irate-paywalled-highlights.html
  8. LSU and Tech deserve each other! Adios MF’ers!
  9. And honestly, this has been a great conversation. Everyone’s keeping it respectful and actually talking football instead of melting down. It’s refreshing. You don’t get many threads like this on Inside Texas - they’d already be throwing haymakers by now. Appreciate the solid dialog here. No screaming, no ‘you’re an idiot,’ just actual discussion.
  10. See Michigan “Everyone against Us” mentality for its championship run. Yes, Lane loves it.
  11. That might just be how every year looks like for Clemson nowadays.
  12. And then a week later they join the Big 10. I know they have the same rule but Lane would do it out of spite. He is a true wildcard.
  13. On the other hand...LSU and TT forming their own conference with their own rules? They could add the very best state prison all star teams and the Arena teams to their schedules. They could play in the Spring. It might fill a niche.
  14. Shouldn’t take kicking them out to curb the behavior. Suspend the coach and AD for an appropriate time frame and ban them from postseason play this year and then until they conform. After that you can dock their check from the league. Going nuclear is not a good option. Even if it ended up being necessary you start smaller and work up to it.
  15. The tactic of bringing Sankey in for humiliating testimony in a kangaroo court doesn’t seem to be well thought out. Especially when he has absolute authority to enforce rules.
  16. Lane fits their mindset perfectly.
  17. Anybody else think LSU and Lane enjoy being the villains? At least it’s not Texas. I do not want that smoke.
  18. I’m really not trying to argue with anyone here, but guess i am 😀. All i was thinking was -- why is the SEC treating these differently?. The new bylaw does ban former NFL players, but OU has run every one of their recent additions through the SEC office and gotten them certified. LSU didn’t do that. LSU certified guys the SEC had already ruled ineligible, then used a judge to block enforcement. And yeah, both sets of players were minicamp‑only like Hutson - but that’s not what the SEC is fighting about. The issue isn’t “were they minicamp or preseason,” it’s “did the school follow the SEC certification process or did they defy the league.” OU followed it. LSU tried to override it. That’s the whole difference. This is just how I see it - not saying anyone else is right or wrong. I may even be wrong about all of this.
  19. Looks like Clemson picked the wrong year to crap the bed.
  20. Not a lawyer but I assume this amended filing in a federal court is to give Sankey / SEC full power superseding any future Louisiana state court rulings on the matter, and includes the punishment clause so that the same Louisiana court can’t TRO the SEC handing out that punishment. Preemptive authority given to Sankey, including punishment.
  21. They also were both similar to Hutson as just mini camp attendees not training camp and preseason rosters.
  22. Not sure how the SEC can see it different considering they just passed a bylaw that says no NFL players are allowed on rosters.
  23. Lane’s comment at halftime were childish and unprofessional. That guy is easily making LSU the most hated school in the conference.
  24. Cody doesn’t want LSU in the BigXII. They’d immediately win every year.
