  1. Past hour
  2. What Sark wants the offense to be and what it needs to be are very far apart
  3. Recruiting got worse every year and the 2021 class was barren. Those results?
  4. So your answer is to fire everyone?
  5. The point about results still stands, it’s about what actually happens on the field, not opinions or anecdotes. Herman’s failures are well documented, but context matters. Observables > opinions, always. Facts don’t require agreement.
  6. Imagine a “poor Tom Herman” thread back in 2019-20. I can’t!
  7. So, infinitely more playoff appearances and conference championships, even under the four team playoff. 2x as many CCG appearances. Am I missing something?
  8. Completion percent like 2x Arch lol
  9. The irony of you saying “Results matter more than anecdotes” as you somehow try to spin Tom Herman’s tenure as anything but a failure. Also, why weren’t you around here as much after the Oklahoma game?
  10. The offense is so bad that it's actually hard to decipher which phase is the worst. It's clear the O-line is straight up ass and it starts there, if Flood and Sark really thought these guys would get them to the natty then shame on them. The running game is another huge head scratcher, I like Wisner but in no world is he RB #1 on a playoff contending team, Baxter being mad out of glass hasn't helped matters at all. The receiving corp. can't get separation against players in the wheelchair Olympics, and I'm fairly certain that they they run the wrong routes about 40% of the time. That brings us to Arch, the jury is still out on him. Clearly his mechanics need work but the talent is there, If you put Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes behind this line they'd be seeing ghost too and I bet their mechanics would regress.
  11. Yes, Sark made two CFPs and that’s worth acknowledging. But context also matters. Under the old four team playoff system, Sark would have only made it once in five seasons. The other seasons, including this year, Texas wouldn’t have qualified. That’s the reality when you strip away expanded playoff slots, NIL advantages, and the transfer portal. Making two CFPs in an era stacked with modern advantages doesn’t erase the fact that the offense remains inconsistent, QBs underdeveloped, and the team lacking a clear identity offensively.
  12. Actually, the REALITY is that he DID MAKE 2 CFPs in a row. THAT’S THE REALITY!
  13. 2 out of 3 phases were excellent. I’ll take it! Onto the next one.
  14. The numbers look good. However he was sack twice and fumbled twice. His 1st pass was right in the hands of a DB but he dropped it. His lack of pocket presence was evident from the get go
  15. Once more, no one had the NIL or portal either. I don’t see Herman excelling under the new rules any more the old ones. Recruiting was a major weakness of his.
  16. Great throw with a defender in his face.
  17. None of that changes the facts. Herman’s mistakes and personality issues don’t alter the structural realities: four-team playoff, no NIL, no transfer portal, no plug and play roster fixes. Sark has all of those advantages, and yet five years in, the offense is still predictable, QBs regress, and the team lacks identity. This isn’t about “disliking” anyone, it’s about observing what actually happens on the field. Results matter more than anecdotes unfortunately
  18. I’m relieved. Which is a broad form of happiness.
  19. Attributing Sark's success to changes in the College Football landscape is silly. If Herman and Sark are the same level coach / program manager, then why is Sark employed and Herman is sitting on a couch. Have all the other ADs in the country missed something? Was Florida Atlantic the only school to see his brilliance? Does Nick Saben have a history of hiring fools who cant coach?
  20. What’s it going to take for Caldwell to get some reps? Has anyone asked Sark? If Sark hitched Texas’ next two years on Arch, he’s taking a risk in his career.
  21. That’s wild
  22. What have you done? He’s living out his dream playing in the NFL. I think that’s plenty to be proud of. He’s by definition in the top 1% of all football players to have made it that far. also, I don’t think he cares what you or I think.
  23. Olympic GOAT
  24. Today
  25. A legendary stop on 4th and goal once again shows the Texas Fight this defense possesses. We are truly blessed to watch these guys week in week out play their you know what's off. Taaffes timing, Mcdonald at his legs, the interior push, the emotion from Shaw, Hill, Kanu, Williams among others... This will be the one memory I choose to think back on when flushing this stinker. 🤘 89th defensive play of the game, can't teach heart.
