  2. If your concerns are more for college football in general then, yea. This probably isn't good. But for Texas? We just have to adapt. We now have a farm system. We don't have to project how an 17 year old kid will do when he's had a year or two of development. We just have to watch ESPN. It's different for sure but it will drive viewership up. If there's some stud RB at Rutgers and Texas needs a RB, we might just watch the Rutgers game (or a rerun) towards the end of the season to get a look at our possible future. I will miss the old days for sure though.

  4. Really interesting breakdown. I think this actually shows how valuable development still is, even in the portal era. A lot of these guys weren’t obvious stars coming out of high school, and some might not have stuck around in past years, but they became NFL players because the staff believed in them and kept working with them. To me, that’s a big positive for the program. It shows Texas isn’t just chasing five-stars or quick portal fixes, but can also grow players over time and get the best out of them. Yes, the portal changes things, but seeing this many late bloomers turn into draft picks proves that strong coaching and patience still matter a lot. That’s a good sign for the future, not a bad one.
  5. I trust you had the decency to name these two Hanz and Franz.
  6. We're getting errbody this thursday❗‼️💯
  7. Okay, I'm just not going to comment on him before he goes back to Maryland lol.
  8. @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel Is this a Texas “All-In” portal candidate? 🧐
  9. Richard Wesley has the Strahan gap. He is about to dominate everything.
  10. Distinguished. Dude has character!
  11. Only reason I kept 247 is for the free Paramount +/CBS subs. I look over there occasionally and their network for other school sites.
  12. man despite the struggles I love the turnaround for this team. gets me excited for what miller can build here
  13. They’re #1 by a landslide, IT is a clear #2 and everyone else who cares
  14. I'm a member of three Texas sites, and this is just pure bullshit. They all have their sources and all break stuff. The OTF team is solid and are either 1A or 1B in Texas coverage, imo.
  15. Miller said tonight was the best statistical defensive night Texas has had this season. "For us to hold them to 64... If we look at ourselves in the mirror, that was the best effort we've had against a really good offensive team."
  16. *NFL NEWS* John Harbaugh is the new HC of the Giants
  17. Miller felt like both teams eventually wore down because the pace was so fast early.
  18. Miller said Tramon Mark's experiences have earned him the right to have a voice in the locker room. The team really respects him, Miller said.
  19. As good as Matas was tonight, his ability to run the floor and make plays in transition really stick out to Miller. "Matas is becoming a better player," he said. "He's improving."
  20. Learning from failure and learning from missed opportunities has been a big part of this team's journey early on, Miller said. Through that growth, he said, Texas is a better team than it was early in the season.
  21. Miller: "We're a better team. We're far from perfect, we can do things better and we'd better keep moving in that direction."
