They play pretty good defense. They attack (blitz)and play a lot of man coverage so they can be susceptible to big plays, but they can be a real problem if you can’t protect qb. They beat up LSU on the LOS. They gave up a lot of points to Arkansas, but Arkansas has a pretty good offense, but bad defense.

Kanu will require a major retention package to return to Texas next season. He’ll have an NFL option after this year.

Well, so far he has A&M's O rolling, so who really knows.

Ah, I wasn't sure about Kanu, thought he was at his limit. As I said, if the 5 for 5 thing changes, Shaw could have another year. The thing is t hey won't need to stress about DL in the portal all that much, as you said a true nose guard would be nice, but there is some guys (who are young) that could play there mainly Charles and Sharma.

Why is the NCAA so stupid lol. They did this with the NIL stuff. First they were opposed to it for so long, then they just said "screw go ahead" lol. Instead of just coming up with a better system and game plan, they just said do whatever you want. This seems like a no brainier to block.

Pretty sure Kanu is done this year. Same with Shaw and Brevard. Johnson, Watson and January would be back next year, to pair with the current Fr crop of Charles, Sharma and J.Terry. If they make the 5 for 5 change, I think Shaw could come back for another year.

Just bought tickets to take my daughter and her friend, any clue on when the time will be announced? Highly doubt we get 2 night games back to back. There's no way the A&M game isn't at night.
