That said, I think every staff has a ton of work to do before he hits the finish line. Hope our staff sees an opening here and exhausts every resource to reel him in.

I don’t think he was disputing anything. Speigelman’s update actually lines up with what’s already been discussed here. It’s just another piece of info pointing in the same direction for Texas. Recruiting updates come from a lot of places, and when multiple sources - local and national - are saying similar things, that usually strengthens the picture, not contradicts it. So I don’t see anything weird about sharing it. It just adds to the overall context.
