Current idiotic Governor BS, which wasn’t around when Miles Orgeron were coaches
-
If mediocre coaches like Les Miles and Ed Ogeron can win national championships there then how do you rationalize "doom(ed) to fail"?
-
Anyone taking the circus LSU job would foolish and doom to fail.
-
It's going to be unbelievable anyway.

I am currently putting my trash out. Sark to Old Mississippi.

Explosive offensive, incompetent defense and no playoff appearances incoming if that’s their hire.
-
No, but there are a couple of others that might not be missed.

Good, he’ll take them to the edge of success then push them off the cliff.

@Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel @Gerry Hamilton @Jeff Howe Is it possible that the entire Desmond Howard situation is really an effort to prevent Malakai Lee from flipping to Texas from Michigan? I wasn’t sure how actively Texas was still pursuing Lee. It may not be an ethical approach, but Michigan hasn’t exactly built a reputation on prioritizing ethics.

We are tame and mild compared to other fanbases... I can name a ton of other schools where the fans are way more insane than Texas fans... You should do some road trip to the SEC schools, Ohio State etc. Also venture over to their boards... Pure insanity. The biggest difference is for many Texas fans Texas sports and football are hobby or casual hobby for many SEC schools it is a way life. like literally they plan their life around it. It's all that matters to them.... And I actually respect that about them....
-
Fireworks! Man, that trip is going to be unbelievable if that's the hire.

Every day. Sometimes two times a day, when I click on OTF, I have been logged out and have to sign in again. I NEVER log out manually. What's the deal? If you want me gone, just tell me. I'm lousy at reading between the lines.

Texas at LSU next year. 👀
-
A close friend of mine — whose parents are significant donors and who’s usually well-informed about LSU’s behind-the-scenes matters — told me that LSU is hiring Lane Kiffin.

We have one season that isn’t meeting your expectations and you’re already threatening with your demands. We’re not even finished with the season yet, and we still have a shot at the playoffs. How about rooting for your coach and the team that’s still in season and still has a chance instead of whining like a little b****. This is why everyone hates Texas fans and calls us a bunch of spoiled, t sipping, privileged blow hards.

I think even the plays Sark calls and him calling plays are fine. I think the biggest issue is this team isn’t A) Physical enough, B) Mean enough, C) Fast enough If the OL was pushing people around, we had an horse and RB, and the WR had the same speed we’ve had recently, Texas would be fine (and probably 9-1).

It's pretty remarkable that it's even a question, but I am all for it! I bet she gets one at least... then imagine the highlight reels that will come as a result. Good pub for Texas if so! -
Honestly if you would have me last year it would be easy but after this year who knows. If Sark is truly committed and all the distractions that led us here are gone or at least minimized I think we will be fine and in the hunt to win it all next year. If not... We might headed for a coaching search in two years or less.

I'm not saying shift expectations, but once they aren't met for the first time in three years does that mean burn it all down and start over in your opinion? I would say no, but I'd also agree with you that we've underachieved. It's okay to say it. Your rhetoric isn't really pointing towards any solutions besides firing a staff, and even if that transpires what would you want to happen? The standard is the standard but it's not happening this year.

That's where my money's going too. I don't think that it will take that long after she starts playing regularly. -
