Cherry picking? I'm providing a list of the top 100 players according to PFF last year, that isn't cherry picking. That is providing detailed data that shows their rankings highly correlate to success and future NFL potential. Conversely for this year Connor Stroh is ranked in the bottom of PFF starting p4 linemen and that correlates to what we've seen on the field. So laugh at PFF if you want but it gives you a baseline of grades to see if the film matches what the grade is, sure it may not be perfect but most of the time the film definitely matches the grade.

I have full confidence that he will eventually get there with his reads and check downs but it has certainly been difficult to watch. The short and intermediate doesn't come naturally for his eyes or touch right now. Caldwell knew what the defense was throwing at him, where the pressure was coming from and to get it out quickly in space where only his guy has a chance to make a play or nobody does. Wingo converted the 2nd and 22 a crucial clutch play in the game. Aaron Murray did a good job breaking down some of the concerns with Archs eyes and decision making in this breakdown of the Florida game. All of the tools are there, hoping the mental speeds up for him sooner rather than later but I do believe it's coming. Quinn's pre snap check vs AZ St, even when the OL had a penalty to make it 4th and 13 -- was crucial to winning a playoff game. The little things and subtleties a great QB does need to be developed and improved but should come with experience. He's too focused on his deep concepts and plays. These are just a few screenshots from different games, there are tons more of the same stuff. Now I'm not asking him to be perfect but these are basic QB plays and reads. As you can see in a lot of these screen shots he has the time and that's a recurring theme amongst the plays not pictured that happen as well. Yes our OL is playing bad and not helping him but he is also not helping them either.

One thing to add too - how the hell did flood literally miss on the only day 1 starter in the 24 class? All he had to do was match and he chose wrong.

I saw all I needed to see last game to know Arch is going to be great. That kid fought his heart out and carried his team with toughness and shear will power. I can guarantee you that if his teammates didn’t believe in him they do now.

Campbell will be a day 3 pick. Baker could develop into one. But the current prognosis is correct.

I completely agree on Jake Majors. He was a much bigger loss as a leader/communicator/blocker/player than most people gave him credit for.

If John Mills was our starting LG and Michael Fasusi was starting at RT, I think our line would then at least match the 3 NFL drafted linemen of 2024 (Banks, Williams, Conner). I'm not sure we have an NFL draft pick on the O-Line outside of Trevor Goosby (unless Nick Brooks develops much quicker).
