  1. Past hour
  2. Let's tap the brakes. I don't find the SECN quite as a cringe-worthy. Nothing personal against any Lowell Galindo fan club members.
  3. Don't they always pass the eye test? Has there been years where you've seen them in a similar setting and said "this is going to be a long year"??
  4. Makes one truly appreciate what we had with Longhorn Network.
  5. This site also said the offense looked great. I’d trust a guy that sees everything than just a 20 min view window. No disrespect to Bobby or OTF.
  6. This very site said it was the most physical fall camp they heard about in his 5 years here.
  7. I’m more concerned about his excuse for losing both his games against real competition. Asking how many teams would go to the swamp and win knowing usf done it a few weeks ago was such a stupid thing to say. Michigan has beaten Ohio st 4 years in a row.
  8. Today
  9. Fall practice was the same as spring in this relation. This is from someone who is inside the facility that sees more than just a media window:
  10. That was in relation to spring practice since it was less than 3 months after the previous season ended. Fall Camp had the full number of padded practices and normal contact periods.
  11. Nick Saban and all his former players say their practices were harder and tougher physically than the games they played. you seriously think not hitting and not practicing as physical doesn’t affect you in games? S&C hasn’t been an issue until this year and it points more toward Sarks philosophical change to go not as physical or hard in practice than it does our S&C program somehow falling off a cliff.
  12. @John Boyle @Cujonation83 What are y’all hooking? The post makes zero sense. Sark emphasizes more teaching but that leads to a weaker mentally? Nonsensical. “Rough” practices are proven more detrimental than helpful. If anything, we have an S&C issue/gap. Sark has the right approach for wear and tear. He over trusted flood, and bo for that matter, and is reaping the consequences. It’s not rocket science.
  13. Yeah, I worried about this back then. We’ve seen it before with the thud practices and we get soft. Different regime, I forget which one tried this and same thing happened. Ironically, this is the year we had the depths to get tough in practice and have a next man up mentality if we needed it. That was almost our strength cooking into that season.
  14. I’m right there with you brother!!
  15. Why you always lying ??
  16. Morning yall! Join us for Coffee and Football starting at 8:15 AM. We’ll discuss the latest Longhorns news and talk everything Texas, plus answer your questions. https://www.youtube.com/live/VZdNVSbKwhI?si=PtXB9exraC4srGfk
  17. And it could explain why we look less physical than we do. It seems his philosophical change and approach to practice may be the reason we look the way we do physically and most likely mentally. CFB ain’t the NFL brother you don’t have 17 games and make it as a wild card with a 10-7 record(this would be like 9-4 in college). Also the mentality and maturity of a CFB isn’t that of a pro player From a March interview: As a result, the Longhorns will have fewer contact periods and more teach periods with more controlled scrimmages instead of going for 140 plays. “Just a little bit of a shift philosophically, as I touched on even back in December, actually, when I first brought this up. The NFL model is such that I think that they teach really well, and it’s something as I’ve studied those guys and I’ve gotten around them here the past few years — you guys know I like to do that in the springtime is go see NFL teams — is making sure we’re teaching really well, making sure that we’re developing and growing as a program, and not just our young players, but really developing our older players to be really dialed into the details of what we’re trying to do. And so again, I feel like you have to in this day and age, be adaptable and not be afraid of change and I think this is an area where we can grow as a program to be better suited for the challenges of the schedule as we know what it was here last season,” Sarkisian said.
  18. Got a ticket to the Kentucky game for way less than I was expecting so that’s a positive. I still think we’ll win that one so another positive
  19. Good News, Bad News Good News - Women's CC is now ranked 2nd in the region after beating Arkansas head to head and is expected to earn the 2nd AQ spot for the NCAA Championships. That would guarantee a top 31 finish and 43 points. Not a bad result for CC. Men's CC still expected to finish top 5 in the region which earns 28 points. Bad News - Women's Soccer ties up the game vs Florida late but gives up a late goal to drop another SEC match. They are in need of a couple good results to make the SEC tournament and keep their season alive.
  20. Those are clear symptoms of rat poisoning.
  21. Don't be weak. If you have something to say to me tag me.
  22. Doesn't Sark always say the TE is the second most important part of his O after the QB? So why has Endries only got 9 catches on the year? He had a game where he had zero catches. It feels like he's barely been involved. If they want to win this game, they better bring some physicality, some attitude and something different on O. Knock off the long, slow developing plays. Get some quick easy screens, slants, hitches and bang it out. Helps the OL, helps Arch and help the WR's/TE's. As for the run game, boy I've no idea how to fix that. Too much finesse and not enough punch you in the mouth attitude from these guys. Whether that's Flood or Sark, who really knows. Let your boys roll downhill and use that size. Right now they look very soft and that itself is confusing.
  23. Preseason expectations…. Arch’s struggles… I’m not bothered by any of that. I am very disappointed by the energy, enthusiasm displayed in the first 20+ minutes… really the whole game. I don’t understand how this past Saturday happens. You only get to put the jersey on 12+ times. You have competition in every position room. You know every opponent has you circled on your calendar. Literally, Texas is everyone’s biggest or 2nd biggest game. You don’t match your opponent’s intensity in the SEC… you get bent. The coaches know that and the team leaders know that. So what the f*ck happpened?!?
  24. Texas band always sits in the lower endzone of the one that has Texas painted on it. So around sections 15-16
  25. He'll be doubtful until they absolutely have to say anything
