I do not like this decision, you play to win the regional not come in 2nd. If we can’t beat KState with Bing or walker etc. Then we should just pack it up. Save the better arm for the better team.

This team couldn’t make routine plays on ground balls, strikes out way too much and couldn’t lay down a bunt in a situational moment. I wouldn’t bet on anything. We haven’t played well since the Aggy series. UTSA was also the more hungry team. Very disappointing effort.

This. There's a lot of pride on this team. They've gotten it done pretty much all year, they just have to get the bats off their shoulders. They are getting the setups, just not converting. That said, 7 runs should be enough to beat any team.

UC Irvine was a regional loss. They had to play that one at Dell Diamond because Disch-Falk was under construction.

@Jeff Howe when is the last time Texas has lost a regional in Austin? I honestly don't remember. I can remember losing Supers to TCU and UC Irvine, but don't recall losing a Regional. I guess the last time I remember coming out of the "losers" bracket to win a regional was around 2002, when UH had that first round MLB ace (Brad Sullivan)?

Glad we burned all our best arms when we can't even field a ground ball. Super cool. We are toast. I expecting to get bounced in the Supers, not this damn early. Hopefully we recruit some kids with some better fundamentals. Base running was a complete joke like they never have done it before yesterday and now this disasterclass defensive performance. On top of lacking enough competitive at bats to be a real contender.
