Pet Peeve: Portal goodbye letters...
All Gas No Brakes replied to Califashorn75's topic in On Texas Football Forum
One of my pet peeves is when people make very generalized, sweeping statements that classify each and every individual the exact same way based on one factor alone. Is money/NIL a factor in transferring? Yes. But can the players also be appreciative and respectful on their way out? Yes. Two things can exist at once, it doesn’t always have to be one or the other. -
For the love of God, win UConn

Aaliyah Moore to enter portal. Missed the 2025-2026 because of surgery on both knees. -
Breakfast tacos and Garage beers! 😎
-
yeah bummed, thought we were getting a spring game again, but will still be fun. 🤘
-
There will be! We'll keep you posted.
-
Poor little brother, still blaming us for them being mediocre! LOL
-
Is OTF going to have a meet up spot? 🤘
-
is there a conference pride flag 😆
-
Man, I was hoping it was gonna be more of a scrimmage rather than an open practice. I am pretty jealous of those programs who have a tradition of well attended spring games.
- Today
-
I can't imagine there will be a ton of live good-on-good given Sark's openness about not wanting a spring game.
-
Does OTF have anything planned around Fan Day?
-
Yeah no game. Just practice but at least get to see something.

Or go hire Cori Close -
I was considering travelling from Arkansas for the "spring game" now it says open practice; is that significant wording? not trying to drive 8 hours and hotel for a practice lol

South Carolina would match Tennessee and more to keep Dawn. -
Looking forward to this as it just happens I'll be in Austin that weekend. Last time I caught a Spring game was the VY NC year if I recall correctly... maybe one in between. But I'm super jacked for this season, so should be a nice teaser! 🤘

The SEC goes one year without a football or men's basketball national championship and the league is crumbling. If that's enough of a reach, leave it to our friends in College Station to once again take the opportunity to blame Texas (I love the "conference pride" comment, BTW. As if the Aggies have contributed to the SEC's success for generations).

They're certainly following the same blueprint that Nebraska football followed that led to their decline post-2001. Hard to believe the program has fallen this far since the Pat Summitt days. They probably should do a hard reset and find a new head coach and go from there.
