  1. Past hour
  2. Can Nick Saban coach soccer??
  3. Nasty comment man, so all the victims are just supposed to move on essentially because it was 10 years ago? This a tread about this specific topic I think we can talk about it here lmao
  4. For the life of me, I will NEVER understand why a team message board becomes a site where folks are railing on others. I am leaving other sites for this reason alone, so let's just root for Texas programs and save the negative bullshit for the other guys.
  5. Somehow I completely skipped over that post lol. Thank you.
  6. The only reason the committee announces the decision to delay making an actual decision is because they know a change in format is needed and forthcoming. The extra time allows for the additional info from this season’s playoff results, and use that as a basis to support the changes they’ll announce on January 23rd. Maybe Disney wants to see the viewership revenue numbers from this playoff season before deciding to go beyond 12-14 teams? ( Disney is locked into under the current contract at fixed economic terms. If the playoffs expand beyond 14 teams, Disney has to increase the payout). Do they go to a 14-team format, or a 16-team format, or all the way to a 24-team format (as favored by the Big Ten)? We’ll know on January 23rd.
  7. Has been a HC four years with 1 national championship in 2022, made the ncaa tournament all four years. Was the top assistant at Stanford when The Cardinal won 2-national championships. see @THookempost above.
  8. He was definitely on the short list before commit season with Ojo, Turntine, Rosebaugh, and Lee. No idea if the coaches have kept the line of communication open. Total conjecture but suspect byu and Utah look like decent options for him at this time
  9. oh will yall shut the hell up? why has no one at all, since all this made a big deal about Ian being the AD at Liberty? he didn’t know anything either?… the court said he was innocent. he’s been away damn near 10 years. move on.
  10. They didn’t convict him because legally what he did wasn’t against the law cause he didn’t do the crimes himself. But that doesn’t hide the fact that he put football over what was going on in the locker room. Either way there is no use to defend this man, he did contribute to a toxic culture.
  11. So they leaked before and he was still found to have done no wrong doing? That doesn't seem like that would fly if the evidence was clear as day.....I don't know what to think, I'll have to go do some more research myself.
  12. I respectfully disagree. He does not lack velocity, he lacks touch on some shorter and immediate passes. That is the next level of progression for Arch
  13. Before and that honestly dosent mean much either. Trust me a lot of cases are settled even if the person is in the wrong, thats just called having a very good lawyer. He did hide stuff and he did turn a blind eye to it, 15+ women don’t just stay stuff like that either man that’s not a coincidence. The school used him as a scapegoat but the truth of the matter is they are all guilty.
  14. I apologize for my part in derailing the thread. Let's get back to discussing Arch, or anything else for that matter.
  15. I won’t say 100% but pretty damn close. If they would’ve beaten Ohio st, they would’ve routed ND
  16. What impresses me the most is how Arch can shake off would be tacklers, yet maintain his vision toward his receiver options. He is tough as nails. Reminds me of a young Terry Bradshaw. Yes, I am old. 68 very soon.
  17. All the bs he went through this year is gonna pay off . 31 TDs this year. And honestly he should be closer to 40 if not for the drops and early season struggles. Just the thought of a run game and a seasoned offensive line around arch should scare the piss out of next years opponents.
  18. Okay we can't just take very decommit and portal OL that shows up lol. It looks like we did have an offer out to him, but so did every other big time program. If he's from Cali, I probably look to see him land at a program around there. USC, Oregon, Washington, etc. Maybe even Utah or BYU.
  19. Good deal. I'm not sure what your endgame is here, but go on, I guess.
  20. I wish. This dude is a stud.
  21. I'm not a big soccer fan, let alone women's soccer, but I had been following a long with a user on reddit that was posting about the games and it seemed like we were struggling big time this year. Wish the old coach all the best and hope we hire a good replacement. I see a lot of people talking about the UCLA HC? Can anyone give a brief overview of why that is a better hire than what we had?
