  1. Past hour
  2. Slight problem though as now they are going to try and save an arm by pitching him through the seventh.
  3. After Larson gets hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, Borba’s 16th home run of the season and his fifth in the last nine games puts the Longhorns up by three runs, 4-1.
  4. I'm the same. I think at times too much can be put into combine being bigger than it is for scouts. Kon Knueppel struggled shooting from the NBA 3 wins last year at combine ... was top 2-3 3-point shooter in league as a rookie. The individual team workouts coming up will be the most impactful for most guys IMO I remain the same on Swain ... He's going to be a solid role player with wing playmaking ability IMO. I don't see him going beyond that, currently. Strong role player off bench, or a role player starter (4th/5th scoring option) Detroit at 21, Boston at 27, Dallas at 30 ... can see that. Maybe a OKC at 17 or Charlotte at 18 really likes him fitting into their team. Miami really likes him, but don't see 13 for him in this draft.
  5. Another three-up, three-down inning for Volantis, who has 11 strikeouts through six (86 pitches).
  6. There was this guy that lived down by College Station and he had a buddy that was and Aggie, he called his buddy up one day and his Aggie buddy was telling him he was very depressed. The guy asked him, why are you so depressed? The Aggie says well I picked up this puzzle and I've been working on it all afternoon and I can't get the puzzle to look like the picture on the box. His buddy asks, what's the puzzle supposed to look like and Aggie says a rooster. So his buddy says well hang on I'll come over and see if I can help and over he goes. He gets there comes walking in takes a look at the Aggie, a look at the table and looks at the puzzle, and says well I can certainly understand why you're feeling so frustrated with that puzzle. I tell you what, why don't you just go outside grab you a beer and sit out on the porch and try to calm down and I'll see if I can get all these Corn Flakes back into the box...
  7. Becerra strikes out looking to end the fifth. Seven runners left on base through five for the Longhorns, but the go-ahead run crossed the plate in a one-run, one-hit fifth.
  8. If we can chase the first man out of the bullpen and the starter in 5 innings that would be a huge start to the weekend. Would be nice to get the sweep and ensure a top 4 finish
  9. A-Rod's second walk of the night makes it first and third with two outs for Becerra. Temo is 0-for-2 tonight with a strikeout and a groundout.
  10. Tinney advanced to third on Mendoza's sacrifice fly, putting a run 90 feet from home with two outs for A-Rod.
  11. Pack strikes out looking on a 3-2 count, but Mendoza does his job, flying out to the warning track in right-center to score Robbins and put Texas on top, 2-1.
  12. Robbins draws a walk and Tinney singles, putting runners in scoring position for Pack with nobody out in the bottom of the fifth.
