Sarkisian has always had a good gameplan for them and gets the chunk runs we have been missing. Two weeks to get healthy and figure out how to get the running game and screen game going. Got to expect teams to run all out blitzes so have to adjust the route concepts to mix in a lot of quick hitters and take the candy teams are going to give us. Wingo and Coleman are good enough athletes to turn short throws into explosives as is Bishop.

On Sunday afternoon, Mike White and his staff received a commitment from 2028 outfielder Zoey Abdullah. The four-star prospect from Hollywood, Fla. (Doral Academy) recently took in a visit to Austin from September 18-20 and has now made it official. Abdullah is ranked No. 61 overall nationally, the No. 10 outfielder overall and is the No. 4 prospect from the state of Florida.

Dude did some serious damage to his professional prospects in one night.

The season so far should prove without a doubt that colin IS the best pass rusher in college football. Some ranked Stewart ahead of Simmons because of his prototypical size, But he’s a walking injury and now a cancer when things don’t go his way.

i couldn’t have been more impressed with the people and the atmosphere at neyland. they were passionate about their team, but absolutely courteous throughout our visit and gracious after the game. it far exceeded my expectations. our video board/PA folks could learn some things from theirs as well. it was appropriately engaging…it didn’t drown out the band and they didn’t have the PA guy leading the cheers like a doofus. they also had the band positioned in the stadium where they could pipe the music through the loudspeakers and not have an echo effect.

I am surprised that Beamer hasn't been let go today. USC should have let him go last year but they were scared they were going to lose Sellers and Stewart to the transfer portal. Now it just looks like they wasted a lot of money on NIL and will continue to be irrelevant.

so far there have been 3 wins over teams ranked in the Top 15 (I believe): Texas over Ohio State Texas over Tennessee Florida over Ole Miss So much slander

Guys I think Texas could end up reaching out to: OU’s class - CB Gabe Osborne - terrific prospect but unlikely to flip regardless of how bad things get in Norman. CB Trent Blaylock - I’d be pretty surprised if he flipped, or at least as long as his brother is there. S Jaiden Fields - this is a maybe. Fields is a local product at Hutto that has been on the Texas radar for a long time but has not been offered. Plays WR and S in HS and has had a really good start to his senior season. A&M’s class — S Kamarui Dorsey - A&M went super high on the $ package to get an early pledge from the Peach State native over Georgia and several others. Tremendous prospect but very low chances for Texas like Osborne imo. S JayQuan Snell - Would also be really surprising. Texas and him aren’t on the same page positionally. OT DeMarrion Johnson - Johnson committed to A&M in August of his junior year but has visited Texas 5 times since. He hasn’t been back to Austin since the Fan Day in April but he probably wouldn’t need another visit to flip since he’s already been on campus so many times. I also want to clarify we haven’t heard the ball is rolling towards a flip but that doesn’t mean it can’t. LB Mikahi Allen - Was supposed to OV to Texas in June but he never made it in. Is a teammate of Texas TE commit JT Geraci in New Jersey. Texas still needs LBs and Allen is a guy the staff is already familiar with.

And I’m saying the reason for the inconsistency is that we’re among the few relevant teams in the country who have been challenged twice in 4 games. Let’s look at Ohio State and Tennessee’s consistency so far, for example. Consistency through 3 of 4 games, then there is a glaringly inconsistent “L” when they played Texas 😂
