  1. Past hour
  2. Interesting Michael Masunas is the sleeper at the TE position
  3. Better hope someone with those starts goes in then or else we’ll have Lavar Ball starting at LG next season
  4. https://x.com/petenakos/status/2013943629140705633?s=46&t=h7MeqenLzNzlNObbC1yVhQ @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton @CJ Vogel Is Texas still expected to pursue? Seems like everyone already has him penciled in at LSU.
  5. I agree with all the points above. I would like to add that I think it is Huge that this will be the 2nd game of the year versus coming out of the gate in '25. I don't think it can be under estimated the impact of a Test Run for Sark, Arch and the skilled Players on Offense and then of course on Defense Muschamps and Gideon get a Game with The Leader wearing the Green Dot under their Belt. And it all gets to be done at Home! Hook'em!!!
  6. He's a good coach and came from a good stable. The stars aligned for him (and Indiana) with the squad he put together, which led to a natty. I think he might be scary as a coach for a school with deep pockets. Coaching is only a piece of the puzzle, albeit an extremely important one. Having a disciplined squad is the real key, IMHO. Texas adding Coach Muschamp should help us in that area, at least on defense. Arch showed some fire to his team mates in the Michigan game, so let's hope he helps on the offensive side as well.
  7. Is Baker really considered a top 3 tackle or is this just ESPN hyping a name they know? @Gerry Hamilton Wasn't the breakout player of the year supposed to be Spencer Shannon according to ESPN?
  8. Have fun with this one AI creators .. this ought to spicen up the thread
  9. Texas isn’t looking for prospects - unless he’s coming for depth. If the kid doesn’t have double digit starts he’s not our answer.
  10. Or Oregon Ducks suits😆
  11. Probably, but make him think about it.
  12. Mentioned: Arch Manning Cam Coleman Trevor Goosby Brandon Baker Colin Simmons Rasheem Biles https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47600341/2027-nfl-draft-top-prospects-early-look-every-position-manning-moore
  13. You know what they say: adapt or die.
  14. Didn't someone report that if he went in, it would more than likely be LSU?
  15. Time for me to dust off the ole shotgun and do some duck hunting.😁
  16. Some of you guys' art work is fantastic! It's gonna be boring as heck once this is all over.
  17. Call me crazy… but I think Texas makes a statement in this game and sark leaves no doubt. The plus side to this is the fact we get a game to get our feet wet instead of just walking into the fire right out of the gate. Way too early prediction is 35-17
  18. Today
  19. Go get him - I’d have Collin Simmons on the call from first contact.
  20. Ohio State’s defense was gutted by graduations and early NFL entries. They lose 7 starters, including 4 NFL first rounders…and all 4 played in the middle of the defense (Caleb Downs, Arvell Reese, S.Styles, and K. McDonald). Add losing both starting CBs, and one can see Arch / Cam / Wingo doing a lot of damage and scoring a bunch of points. On the flip side, Ohio State returns 8 starters on offense, including 4 OL. They have Sayin, J.Smith, and Bo Jackson as headliners at the skill positions (but also lose Carnell Tate and Max Klare). They will score some points on our defense too. Take the over. Texas wins 38-24.
  21. Thus the “way too early”. in the title.
  22. Today’s going to be a good day! I choose to believe it.
  23. So today’s likely the day (sans players from Miami and Indiana) when we know everyone in the portal. I’m curious to see if Sark/Flood go into the pool of 6,000+ kids and take fliers on OL for depth. If they don’t work out, they are in the portal again next year.
