True, but there were at least three other teams not named Notre Dame in last year's 12 team playoff who didn't play in a conference championship game. I can understand the loser of a conference championship game getting in, but if you're letting in teams ranked 3rd or lower in conference there's no reason to exclude ND. They already are barred from getting a top seed and a home game. (And I really detest ND, just pointing this out ... if you want to limit it to just teams who won or played in a CCG then OK, leave ND out, but otherwise I'd say let them scramble for an at large bid if their record and SOS is good enough.) The "No conference championship game involved" made more sense in a 4 team playoff, I feel.

We are talking about next year QBs. Focus. Because someone says another QB will be considered a top QB for 2025, they are an enemy? Doesn’t correlate, buddy. And Sam Leavitt was a freshman and first year starter, we are predicting trajectory here, he had way better first year stats than Quinn if you’re measuring. Again, Quinn is gone, and we are talking 2025, so not measuring.

I had Klubnik rated as the top prospect in 2022 in my own personal rankings. I had AntHill as #1 in 2023. Klubnik showed me he could be great from the get. Like Brees, Klubnik had some WR clowns that first year, but now he got some good ones to throw to. I disagree with Bobby, I think he will be the #1 pick in the 2026 draft, barring injuries, of course. See how the off season works? Just a bunch of speculation because that's all we have! lol

I believe Josh Pate is a very good podcaster. Visits all the coaches . Very knowledgeable. Not as knowledgeable as Bobby Burton. But he will be when he’s Bobby’s age .

The good news is they don’t have a bad series loss. Arkansas is 5 in RPI and Florida is 17. And they have a recent series win over 26 (OU).

That Clemson regional projection is tough, man. Clemson, UCLA, Kentucky, Bryant As is Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech, Florida, Oklahoma State, Murray State Florida is going to be scary no matter where they land. ACC getting hosed on those two. 😂

For Texas, it comes down to how much the committee values momentum. Our overall resume is clearly the best in the field, but we’re probably the worst among the top six in results over the last four weeks.

Correct… with three of those four coming to the same team. 0-3 Arkansas 2-1 LSU 3-0 Georgia 3-0 Auburn

Leavitt is pretty good, but I'm not sure he's all that. Struggles as a passer, won't have a great RB to take the edge off himself. I think the game with ASU was a lot closer than it probably should've been but we'll see how it goes. As for Klubnik, he had a rough start to his college career, but he's come a long quite a bit. We'll see how he goes this year. For Arch, I think the talent is obvious, even in the small sample sizes we saw. He'll have some lumps early on but now that he is the clear guy, he'll improve leaps and bounds, imo. I also agree with Gerry about Sellers, great QB but I'm not sure they have the guys around him to maximize his talent. Which would be unfortunate.

I don’t see a scenario that pushes Notre Dame to a conference UNLESS there is unified broadcast rights across all of college football. That’s the only way and that’s a long, long ways off from happening, if ever.
