  1. Past hour
  2. Bit 12 is dead. No one cares or watches.
  3. Seems like a good thread to drop this X memory - the most fun I've had as a Longhorn fan
  4. Today
  5. Kiffin has better offenses, but Sark’s better overall imo
  6. Is Kiffin better than Sark or about the same ?
  7. The sports department has come a long way, and im here for it
  8. Since the arrival of CDC anyway. Is that almost every sport is competitive and realistically has a chance to make a run at a championship. Reading Blake's update on baseball, seeing the potential for the basketball teams, softball is in the top 5, volleyball is #2 and expected to make a run, swimming, etc. It allows for constant entertainment of being able to watch Texas and be invested. It's different than the days (and schools like for example Kansas) where a fan could only bank on one or two programs to be excited about and then the rest of the year is ho hum.
  9. Kiffin will be wildly successful at Florida. What he’s done at Ole Miss with a fraction of the talent and resources he would have at Florida is already historical (by Ole Miss standards). Kiffin has an offensive system that scales. His current QB is a D2 transfer that arrived at Ole Miss in June to back-up Austin Simmons…and Ole Miss’ offense doesn’t skip a beat. I don’t think Kiffin enjoys recruiting much, but he knows to hire assistants who do. In the state of Florida, he’ll have an in-state advantage in the most talent-rich recruiting state in the country. As long as Florida competes in the NIL space, Kiffin’s rosters will be as talented as any in the country. And if you’re an offensive player, you’ve already got proof of concept that Kiffin’s system scores big points against the top teams in the SEC. This is as close to a no-brainer for success as Florida can possibly have. Now, let’s hope they can screw it up 😂
  10. How many schools has Kiffin walked out on?
  11. Kiffin's at least been successful since then at FAU and Ole Miss, Herman's trajectory has gone the other way and to now his only sniff at success as HC of a program was at Houston.
  12. I disagree, he also messed up at TN and his reputation for being a disloyal POS is growing and growing. Also, if he has success at FL the odds are he’ll jump to NFL or bigger contract elsewhere. I think he’ll flame out at FL. To me he and Herman are cut from the same cloth.
  13. You have a point there. She’s 🔥
  14. hey @Bobby Burton can we get Brett on coffee so we can all laugh at him?
  15. What do you mean you don't see the attraction???? Have you seen Layla???
  16. I tend to agree. Florida is a damn good job. Of course, any job takes making the correct hire
  17. Will be interesting to see how Ole Miss plays this weekend in Norman. If they lose, which they shouldn't, because OU can't score against any defense with a semblance of talent, then the players are mailing it in because they know.
  18. Let’s go ladies! 🏐🤘
  19. The OL has no nastiness to them. No Studdard, if you will. That’s on the HC and OL coach period.
  20. Put me on the record of thinking Kiffin does really well at Florida. Especially if he gets the NIL guarantees he needs. They’ll start locking down all the Florida dudes we’ve been cherry picking.
  21. This is insanity. Dan Neil would be our best OL by a huge margin. (btw I used to work with Dan. Nice guy. It was strange to be sitting in meetings next to Dan Neil, not too long after watching him win Super Bowls.)
  22. Just because Hills and Neil both played on the O-Line in college and in the NFL doesn't qualify them. Even though they both have Super Bowl rings shouldn't mean a thing..... Oh wait, maybe...... (they might know what they're talking about.)
  23. I saw an interview with Kelce talking about his lack of size at 6'2" 280 and how he was able to be so successful. Against bigger he would use his leverage to get under them. Against smaller he could use his arm length for leverage. He said the one player he hated going against was Poona Ford at 5'11". He said he couldnt get under him and Poona had longer arms. He couldnt block him.
  24. Not as much as our crappy offense Not as much as our inept/crappy offense. I mean no offense.
  25. That won’t last long, not at Florida. What he has done at Mississippi has been amazing, with the talent in Florida and the NIL, he will win and win big. USC was an aberration because of probation.
  26. Let's say Kiffin takes the job, what is the level of concern that it will impact any of our Florida commits/targets for 2026?
  27. From what I was told last weekend. Could have changed
