  1. Past hour
  2. Who exactly was one and done other than the QB? Upfront they had several multi year OSU guys. Same on offense. Tate, Smith, Egbuka were OSU guys. Many of the Oline guys were OSU guys. Ransom, Burke. Other than Downs, Howard, Judkins, I suppose Gee Scott, who was there?
  3. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive. You can find a coach that fits your program (bigger priority of course) while also being someone that your current RB room likes. Florida reporters have said retaining Baugh is one of Sumralls top priorities so why wouldn’t that be a factor in his hiring decision? They brought in a coach who has a footprint in Georgia and developed a true freshman into a near 1000 yard/10 TD back. He’s a better hire than people are giving them credit for

  5. Goosby, Baker, Wingo, Mosley, Kanu, Simmons, Jackson, Littleton, Phillips....
  6. I disagree. I would hope a head coach hired who he thinks is his best option versus hiring a guy from another school hoping it keeps one specific player on the team. This could go either way for them. Sounds like it’s gonna be an important first meeting for them
  7. Teams can improve a lot over the course of a season and through the playoffs. It is what males high scholl playoffs so interesting and the college playoff so … “meh”.
  8. Is Ohio State behind the 8 ball when they chose to go all in on last year?
  9. Agreed but if you are getting rid of young talent due to budget to get 1 and done guys youre putting yourself behind the 8 ball.
  10. Something told you? Can you name this something?
  11. Creekside has historically been one of the better programs in Georgia. I wish Texas would take a look at teams like Lee county, Carrollton, colquitt county. There’s plenty of schools in that Atlanta metro area, but a LOT of hidden gems in the south/southwest region of Georgia. Zayden Walker was the #1 linebacker in the state and Kirby got him from my alma mater Schley county, which is a small A school with a population of about 1200
  12. Naeshaun Montgomery might be worth a flyer... kid is super fast and elusive.
  13. This isn't the NFL. There's no deferring todays money for tomorrows.
  14. Colin Simmons says "hold my beer".
  15. There's plenty of starter level portal players, just depends on what you need. Who you have coaching them, etc.
  16. Just how good is this team? Any players Texas will look at? I saw where they beat DeSoto early this year 70-28, Texas’ 6A Div. 2 champs. I was looking at their scores, I bet they averaged close to 70 points a game .
  17. The portal is like CFB fairyland. Things will change in the next 11 days, but there aren't many "starter level" portal players out there this year. Hell, Lefau is currently the 2nd overall LB available in the portal.
  18. It takes time to develop and be ready to become a starting center.
  19. We understand that. I’m also wondering about the coaches ability to develop. So far it’s been a pretty mixed bag at best at IOL
  20. So what’s the deal with Cruz? Developing on track? Is he just still not strong enough?
  21. The players that will get drafted IMO that are likely to leave: Hill (late first) Burke (2nd) Muhammad (3rd) Endries (5th) Taafe (5th) Campbell (6th) Brevard (6th)
  22. This will go down as one of CDC's best hires when it's all said and done.
  23. If he plays against Florida, we win.
  24. It was reported Baugh wanted to see who the RB coach was going to be before making a decision. He was hired today and now has in home visits with Sumrall tomorrow and other staff on Wednesday. Not saying it’s a home run hire, but I don’t think Florida would bring on someone their best player wouldn’t care for.
  25. This seems like a no brainer to pursue, unless he intends on heading back to Florida?
  26. In what world is that leaning towards him staying a Gator? Not saying it's not 50/50 right now but hiring the Duke RB coach is not getting him leaning toward staying?
  27. Thought the word was he would go to the draft?
