Joes Zhit list? 😂 -
I’m in the country music business. She was an all time great. But an even better person. RIP Dolly.

Picking on the dairy farmer seems too easy.
-
Dolly was the real deal. No gimmicks, no fluff --- just talent stacked on talent. Country music doesn’t make many like her anymore. Hell of a run. RIP

So the guy who’s won more than anyone not named Cook suddenly needs to ‘ride into the sunset’ because an assistant left? If Texas ever hits a skid, sure, we can have that conversation. But calling for Elliott’s retirement while he’s still stacking trophies is wild. This program doesn’t need a new head coach - it needs another Sullivan, not a farewell tour -
@Joe Zura any practice intel you can share for us out of College Station?

I first saw her at the Buddies Supermarket parking lot on a flat bed trailer along with Porter Wagoner when I was a little kid in Ft Worth .

Do you think other coaches / programs are using Joey's lack of integrity against him in recruiting? He seems like an Art Briles 2.0 waiting to happen. If they'd go to these lengths over a clear "right vs wrong" issue as this, what else would they be willing to overlook or make justifications for?

Has no business being called “Coach”

Tech is in their own bubble in Lubbock and they are so tone death to everything beyond the borders of Lubbock. Have no clue between what is right and wrong.

CFL banned him too. Every major football league in North America rejected Sorsby. Yet community college still doesn’t see anything wrong.
-
As a Cedar Hill grad (long before Joey arrived, though I have some friends that remain close with he and his wife) it is amazing how much the community still loves him. I get it, CH football was a doormat until he arrived. Yet, I wonder how those fans are feeling this week after Brewster announced his transfer (without even informing the current high school coaching staff). To say Joey was not informed/involved at some level (if not one of the architects of the move) would be ignorant, but I think continues to speak to the type of guy he really is.
