Yes. The 1984 rain game vs OU was very forgettable. The only thing I could not forget was our RB taking the pitch out right and the two DBs cut him off quickly and all three went down short of the goal line in what looked like a tsunami of water on the artificial turf. Fourth Down fail. The Texas RB was Kevin (?) from Stafford Douglas HS I think. There's nothing like the silence of the crowd leaving the stadium after a long game played to a tie score in the rain. Fwiw, I lived in Wyoming 1999-2016 and when coworkers and others learned I was a Texas Ex they unloaded on me about "Freddie"Akers (I noticed they all called him Freddie). They felt like Akers had success coaching the U of Wyoming and they thought he gave the University and the Cowboys fans the impression he was staying in Laramie immediately before announcing he was returning to Austin. I would say young in the sense that they haven’t played a lot of football collectively and we’re also basically in search of a LG that can actually play consistently. I’m still a Neto fan not much of a Stroh fan honestly.

We are not young. Inexperienced? Yeah I suppose but Campbell, Goosby and Hutson are not. If we lose or are this bad on the Oline that it costs us games and we did zero to fix this in the offseason, heads should roll. Total malpractice.
