I said it last year and I will say it this year, I don't believe Texas makes the CFP if we lose to OH St. The CFP Committee does not rank teams analytically and perspicaciously. Each committee member has a past along with some tie to a school/conference as such each has favorites, dislikes, competitors, rivals and possibly enemies. A CFP committee majority is systematically and institutionalized to be factional, potentially vs an SEC team under the right circumstances. Some CFP committee members are outright biased against Texas. Winning teams but less talented than elites are often given a generous ranking due to avoiding losses by way of a manageable schedule. Talented teams with many future NFL players often do not get the respect they deserve if they have 1 too many losses vs a tough and talented schedule. The CFP Committee is often framing arguments around mistake prone polls to reverse engineer their preferred CFP rankings. All 9-3 SEC teams are vulnerable to being left out of the 12 team CFP.

66 Days Until Kickoff: Who Was The Best No. 66?

Go ahead and throw 60 in there while you're at it. -
Why didn't the fans try throwing water bottles on the field to overturn the red card....
-
There are great match ups today. Top 20 teams going at it.
-
Similar to a football player faking an injury so the team can take a break, coaching directions, etc. Soccer players are drama queens.

Iโm not a Klatt fan any longer, so Iโll offer some criticism of the list. USC vs Penn State?? A battle of 4-loss teams featuring Iowa Stateโs roster and Lincoln Riley awaiting an NFL OC offer! Wow! Iโd argue the Houston vs Tech game has far broader Playoff implications than USC vs. Penn State. And where is the Oregon vs Ohio State game?! One of those two teams is winning the Big Ten and getting a top 4 playoff seed. Clemson vs LSU is a playoff elimination game (for the loser) in week #1. Michigan has no chance of making the playoffs but has two games on this top 10 list?

Dahlberg was a tremendous contributor but Jake stepped up monumentally over his initial abilities. ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ค๐ฝ๐ค๐พ๐ค๐ฟ -
Weโre 65 days away from Texas football. Todayโs No. 65 group features Jake Majors, Greg Dahlberg and Omar Saleh. Majors put together one of the most accomplished careers of any center in Texas history with a program-record 56+ starts, a Big 12 title, CFP appearance, SEC title game appearance, Campbell Trophy finalist honors and three Academic All-Big 12 First Team selections. Dahlberg was part of a monster era under Darrell Royal... a three-year letterman, 1970 national champion and three-time SWC champion from 1970-72. Saleh was a multi-year offensive lineman in the 1980s and part of the group that helped Texas win the 1987 Southwest Conference title.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I didn't even know they did that until I saw the Ohio coaches meeting Fakatou at the airport (I believe). Then I saw another photo of the Texas coaches - including Sark - meeting players and families outside the Four Seasons in Austin.
