How many times have you seen an SEC team mow down all comers in a season and then get bounced in a Regional. This team, like all teams, needs to grow throughout the season, that's a lot easier to do when your flaws get exposed and you have to face adversity so hopefully this is the good adversity that leads to growth. I liked watching them win 16 in a row, but even I started hoping for a loss. And JMarquette, there was supposedly this great bat on the team last year named Will Gasparino, who slumped and spiraled, so much so that he transferred to UCLA where he is knocking the cover off the ball. Weird s*** happens in a baseball season.

We deferred to Sark on the offensive line, and look how that turned out. Coaches can be wrong too, pal. Tinney has not proven himself to be a quality player.

We also don’t think he is as bad as you say he is. I defer to Schloss on that one. Like I said it is long season, he has 4 HR’s on the year. It’s obvious he is struggling, but it’s a long season and we will need his bat to go where we want this team to go this year.

We don’t know if Tinney is any good, he’s been awful since coming here. He played at Notre Dame where he was playing guys who weren’t very good. Robbins has proved himself despite playing weaker competition, Tinney has not.

He's a good catcher with power, so I disagree unless Ermis is hitting well at practice.

I don’t like taking a pitch when you are in a slump. If it’s fat over the plate, swing. Taking a pitch is for people who are looking for a certain pitch. Tinney is in a slump, I think he can be good but he’s predictable for me and I am on a high school level of baseball experience.

God he is so damn bad. He swings at EVERYTHING outside the zone but watches meatballs right down the middle it’s pretty fkn annoying. Put pack at the 2 hole.
