Aaron Humphrey (LB/DE | 1996–99) Humphrey is the clear headliner for No. 49. A first-team All-Big 12 selection in 1997 and Texas’ team MVP in 1999, he finished his career with 50.5 tackles for loss and 24.5 sacks. One of the most productive pass rushers the program has seen. 2. Jack Collins Jr. (HB | 1958–61) One of Darrell Royal’s early offensive stars, Collins led Texas in rushing, receiving, total offense and all-purpose yards during the 1959 season while earning All-Southwest Conference honors. He helped the Longhorns capture conference championships and was later inducted into the Texas Athletics Hall of Honor. Current No. 49: Jake Collett The current owner of No. 49 is freshman kicker Jake Collett, from Heritage High School in Georgia.

I'm here. Doesn't surprise me. He's been reporting he thinks LSU is trending. As I wrote up top, even if he flips, Texas expects this to go the distance and they'll keep recruiting him. Fwiw Royal took to twitter to say he hasn't talked to a single reporter in recent weeks in response to Steve's pick.

If you're talking about CFB 27, those are fun. I've done some simming for Texas myself. For whatever reason Texas does not sim well in those games. I'm like 4 or 5 seasons into my current dynasty run with ULM and they fired Sark after year 2, hired Cignetti from Indiana and then fired him after one year of going 7-5 lol. They then hired Lincoln Riley after he got fired from USC and he's currently not doing very well either being on the hot seat.
