  1. Past hour
  2. My dad grew up in Dothan back in the 50s and it’s absolutely exploded as a town from what it was. Took road trips there often from Dallas growing up
  3. We were there at the same time. I had never witnessed anything comparable to Earl and I still haven't. He was an absolute beast and so quiet and humble. It was such a shame that Roosevelt Leaks hurt his knee before his senior year when Earl was a freshman.
  4. His fist SEC power ranking (January 18): 1 Ole Miss, 2 Georgia, 3 Oklahoma, 4 Texas, 5 Texas A&M, 6 LSU, 7 Tennessee, 8 Alabama After the ruling regarding Trinidad Chambliss's eligibility (Mid-Feb): Georgia moved up to the #1 spot, displacing Ole Miss, who dropped to #2. Oklahoma fell from #3 to #5, while Texas climbed to #3 and LSU rose to #4.
  5. I remember his first 2 carries in college. Ran up the middle for what was supposed to be a dive play. He dragged tacklers to a first down. 2nd play? dive play...same thing...the crowd was grasping for air!
  6. Yesterday
  7. Texas behind OU and Ole Miss?! Oooookkkkkaaayyyyy
  8. It was a 12 pointer, ol’ boy just couldn’t control himself. He was the most beautiful buck he’d kilt.
  9. SEC Mike has been and is a idiot
  10. As a kid I was lucky enough to meet Earl after a home game. Family knew one of the manager for the Longhorns and he got me into the locker room after the game. I was in complete awe, but we was so nice to me. I will remember that forever.
  11. I feel like, even though I don’t know what the punishment for this is, it should probably be more severe than whatever it is for the sake of keeping a clear psychopath off the streets.
  12. Was it a doe or a buck? It matters
  13. Gerry, remember that mayo is not a lube. And there’s only one orifice where a corndog should be entering. Stay safe out there!
  14. Didn't know what that meant and had to look it up. So you are smart??? Who would have guessed.
  15. I used to have a comma on my ELO. I'm up for the challenge!
  16. Ai’King Hall of Dothan High is pretty much a “can’t miss” prospect. Super impressive. Tremendous talent, with an elite mind. Plays chess! 6-1, 195 versatile DB
  17. I think that was against Arkansas as a freshman when he blocked a punt rushing up the middle. Just remembering seeing that in a Earl documentry. I never saw him play live in college just NFL. I actually was at his first pre season Oiler game where he didn't do anything. Some idiot behind me was talking "same old Oilers this RB is going to be a bust. Earl broke it out against Dallas in there last pre season game, had over 150 yds. Back in the late 70"s teams played there starters for almost entire game in last pre season game. I also saw live the famous run against the Rams in 1978, where he ran over the ALL Pro Linebacker.
  18. you and I are saying the same thing. I honestly can't believe we have Texas football fans that hold opposite opinion. Guess they're classier than us.
  19. That's what I'm saying. He was our number one ranked recruit last year. Why would we just say cool nvm, play another sport?
  20. @CJ Vogel @Blake Munroe I probably missed it but I didn’t hear anything about Robbins hitting for the cycle on Saturday. It’s pretty rare. The last time a Texas player hit for the cycle was 2015. Not sure how many Texas players have accomplished this. Texas won 3-1 and Robbins had 2 RBI’s and scored a run on his HR. No other player had an RBI as our only other run scored on a passed ball.
