  5. Geffrard is reallllly intriguing for a nose prospect.
  6. 463 snaps at 6–5 and 385 pounds this year for Arkansas. 8 pressures, 13 run stops.
  7. To @CJ Vogel's point, we're told Texas isn't leaving anything to chance. They want to put the best possible team around Arch that they can in '26. With that approach, tough decisions must be made by all parties.
  8. Lol the only penciled in starter is Arch Manning

  10. It is a bit of a mystery why Flood is so good at recruiting and developing OTs but can't pick or develop interior lineman to save his life. Most OL coaches have the opposite problem.
  11. I am a little bummed to see Moore go. His senior leadership would seem to have been of high value. I guess Sark is looking for more productivity from his starting rotation.
  12. We are looking for all interior positions and absolutely no one should be penciled in as a starter for next year on the OL outside of the tackles.
  13. Everything will be on the table regardless of who returns or departs. It won’t hinder Texas’ pursuit of the best possible options at every position.
  14. I get it, but until we see him on the field then that's all we have to talk about. Only the coaches can decide when that is. How many centers are ready to start in year two? Probably not many
  15. Following his coach to Auburn?
  16. I'm hopeful about Cruz the way Gerry talks about him, but at this point I'm tired of talking about potential.
  17. Both Gerry and CJ have reported that the staff is very happy with his development. Offensive lineman take time to bake more than any other position, especially at center
  18. The Post presser looked and sounded like the same Elko after Texas. Miami pretty much did the same thing to them defensively as we did. We just waited a quarter to adjust. They got by with a super easy schedule this year. Next year, will be tough for them.
  19. The fact Cruz has not cracked the starting lineup is yet another failure on Flood either from a recruiting standpoint or a developer. He had all his eggs on Cruz given we didn't recruit any other centers the last few years. It's one of the reasons for the failure this year and might affect us next year to an extent as well if we don't get an experienced center from the portal. If Cruz turned out to be a solid player, he would have gotten his growing pains out this year and we'd be going into next year with a solid line. Now it's almost as much of a question mark as it was last off season.
  20. I thought Quinn had a good game for his first one. They didn't really give him great opportunities to get TDs since they opted to run near the goal line so statistically it didn't look great. The game got out of hand in the early 3rd qtr when the defense was getting demolished so Quinn was pressing more that resulted in some forced plays that resulted in the 2 INTs. The INTs weren't that bad too. Throwing it up on a 50/50 for Waddle is understandable and the throw across the middle was a great play by the CB. Those are solid NFL like decisions by a QB. What's funny is I thought the crazy throw to the TE was actually a bad decision. Funny how the narratives are only based on the results. Cincy doesn't have a good pass rush so that was a pretty ideal scenario for him but he looked solid. He'll have to at least throw a TD or 2 if he wants to have any chance to really contend for the starting spot, but I'm glad McDaniel is giving him opportunity to develop because these backups normally don't get that chance. Hopefully he doesn't have to play in the snow next week.
