Yup 10-7 at half. They play Ole Miss and A&M back to back coming up. We’ll learn a lot not only about them but our other opponents as well. -
Section II is what I drew. Upper deck corner endzone.

Looks like La Tech better than Clemson. Clemson barely won against a team they should've blown out by 40. Swinney better hope he can pull something out of that bag of tricks this year. I was surprised they were struggling with them at half time. Wasn't it only 10-7 at the half? -
How did you know to look there? I thought all the universities were using Seatgeek now. I had to install TN athletics app to get to my tickets. Everyone else the same?

Not sure it has been mentioned but last time Texas beat #1 at home before last Saturday. November 4th 1950, Texas 23 SMU 20. Didn't realise that!

Sam Leavitt with 3 INTs against Louisiana Tech last week including a pick 6. Someone remind me what all the hype was about him? -

Remember, Texas Tech runs Texas…not Oregon. Even Oregon doesn’t run Oregon 😉 -

Georgia’s schedule looks pretty weak. They’re gonna look amazing all year. I’m sure they’re good…but playing the teams they play will only improve the eye test. -
Wow, what a great win Saturday night. It was magical and, for the most part, indescribable. No short fields. No major gaffes by Ohio State’s defense that led to a big explosive play. After Texas failed to take advantage of opportunities earlier in the game to put themselves in the driver’s seat, they had to “get it out the mud” by grinding, executing, and physically dominating Ohio State to win an improbable game in dramatic fashion. I am so thankful to be a part of this amazing community here at On Texas Football, and I absolutely love the opportunity to be able to post our own topics. Also, please tell me to stop if I’m not good at it. 😂 I also love the analysis and thoughts that everyone who works at OTF contributes. Rod Baber got me thinking about the question: “What could possibly be Texas’ fatal flaw this season?” He’s mentioned in past seasons that it’s been the red zone—so much so that every time Texas scores a touchdown in the Red Zone/Red Area, Lord willing, I’m going to tag him with the message: “Red Zone TD.” 😂 But I think this season, Texas’ fatal flaw could potentially be possessing the ball. Texas put the ball on the ground four times against Ohio State, and so far this season, through two games, they have three turnovers. The interception against Ohio State was fluky, but it was still costly in terms of early momentum. However, what I did like about the Texas playmakers as the game progressed was their adjustment and emphasis on taking care of the football. The question for me becomes: Will they do this consistently every game, or will they try to make the home-run play every time they touch the ball? If this offense becomes the juggernaut that I think it could be, opposing defenses may eventually feel like their best chance to slow Texas down is by maximizing their efforts to create turnovers. I’m very interested to see UTSA’s defensive plan of attack this week, as well as Texas’ approach from both a game-planning standpoint and a player-mindset standpoint. I know guys like Cam Coleman and Ryan Wingo have to be itching to make the big-play touchdown after Jeremiah Smith was the star of the passing game on Saturday. But honestly, I just want to see Texas play a clean game from a turnover standpoint, continue developing defensive depth, and hopefully find a reliable third running back. Have a great night, and as always… HOOK ’EM! 🤘

Texas Baseball Picks Up 2028 Commitment

Looks like he might be the top player/pitcher in NJ for 2028. He is already 6’5” and 225 lbs with a fastball in the 95 MPH range. It will be interesting to see how high he gets drafted. -
I saw someone had a corndog hat made for the OU vs Texas game lol. Asked Gery if he would wear it, can't remember what thread that was in.

Ticketmaster. Interesting. I wouldn’t have figured that out in my own. Thanks much for the big help.

If Arch needs to get hit early, run a QB draw to start the game so we can get 4th quarter Arch for the entire game lol. To your point Jeff, the fact that with the game on the line, he kept pounding it up the middle was great to see. Normally he would try some funky stuff there (like a toss play). I was impressed on that last TD with the G, C, G. They all pushed their guys back into the end zone. That on top of WInston meeting the LB in the gap are what allowed that to be a TD. A far cry from where we've been.

I know....I'm just saying that Bobby mentioned we got 3 baseball commits after the game. At least I believe he did anyway.
