  1. Past hour
  2. That's even more concerning. They don't want to come here so badly that some are turning down significantly bigger offers?
  3. I thought Brunner had all but committed to Indiana
  4. yeah grad transfers can go then. just a wild ass guess but that's when I expect an experienced depth QB to be added tbh
  5. IT is reporting Brunner is visiting today. Idk if that’s true. I trust this site much more.
  6. Atleast Now we know early on which team will be caught holding the bag 🤷🏻‍♂️
  7. Seems like we are less focused on retention, we might intentionally carry fewer scholarship players to have more money to fund the 2-3 deep directly. Less money on developmental guys than in the past. Which probably means bigger portal needs going forward. It seems like a step towards the Indiana/Ole Miss philosophy or an NFL philosophy. Since most of us think we were just 3-4 players away last year (RB, 2OL, and maybe a true no.1 WR), this is a relatively aggressive strategy of change more than a tweak. The guys have been saying all-in and this change does seem aggressive not cautious. And it's on top of letting PK go. Can't say it's bad or good yet IMO.
  8. I realize a very select % are grad transfers, but can they still transfer in spring?
  9. In a way, that's also very concerning.
  10. One thought to throw out there. Texas has not lost a big game target because the money was not right. In most cases, they left money on the table and returned to their schools. That money is still in our pocket and available for plan B. It is gonna be alright folks.
  11. If they enter by the deadline they can enroll or commit anytime before next season.
  12. 1/2 to 1/16. Do players just have to have entered window by 1/16? On 1/17 and beyond, if you haven’t found a team can you still sign after 1/16?
  13. Need to lure that big BYU back from El Paso.
  14. What is the experimental change they implemented?
  15. I don’t like this laid-back attitude, to be honest Texas had a head start with NIL and the first few years of the portal we could get who we wanted. Now plenty of other teams have caught up and we let 4 seasons of 2 5 star quarterbacks with elite defenses pass us by.
  16. Basically looking for Joe Bergeron type back?
  17. There’s an intriguing RB out of Kentucky with a big frame Donte Dowdell that catches my eye. But looking into it he’s transferred twice in 2 years.
  18. Personally, I would like to see 215, because for the time being, I have no reason to believe the offensive line will be able to generate the push necessary on short distances. If that's going to be the case, I would like to know the RB can fall forward off of size alone and do the dirty work himself.
  19. 6-2, 233 630+ snaps this year. Did not grade well in coverage.
  20. Not the biggest Flood fan but firing him for turning a 3 star into a first round pick sounds counterintuitive lol
  21. I can’t believe Jordan was 10 miles away from the worker that eventually helped him to the hospital (according to his wife). How he was able to get to the worker with the severity of his of his condition is miraculous. It shows that warrior spirit he’s always had.
  22. You mentioned on live last night potentially adding a sledgehammer between the tackles back or it may have been @Jeff Howe. Are we talking like 6’+ and 210+ or just running style?
  23. Oh I see now. I understand how big the whiffs are now.
