  2. Happy birthday @CJ Vogel 🤘🏻
  3. Woah woah woah now the bear is in a whole different class lol
  4. A hockey team in Houston would be awesome. Such an incredible sport to watch in person and as a Houstonian rooting for the Dallas Stars feels wrong.

  7. Big boy recruiting does not necessitate subjecting yourself to the vicissitudes of localized socioeconomic instability. Try to come back with something better than "dumb" and "big boy."
  8. I hear national media members talk about how Texas has an advantage because its the best show in town in a major city. As a Longhorns and NHL fan (Pens and Avs primarily), I wanted to hear what some other sports people in the Austin area feel about potentially getting a pro team. Did you hear about this yet? Would you support a team if it was in Austin? Have you ever watched a hockey game before? Honest opinion, hockey is the most exciting major sport to watch and play. Even though I love football (I played at the University of Toledo), the commercials and constant breaks in action can really get on my nerves watching cfb compared to hockey. If you haven't given it a chance and it comes to Austin, going to a game may completely change your mind about the sport. What the pros do on the ice is truly incredible and such a unique blend of physicality, athleticism, and skill.
  9. Well it’s a long sitting.
  10. What's dumb is investing resources in recruitments that have a high degree of inherent volitility.
  11. You are going to eat that whole bag in 1 sitting aren’t you CJ
  12. Got the good stuff locked and loaded for the drive to Manning Passing Academy
  13. Standard Mississippi recruiting drama. Think it was last year a kid committed to both Ole Miss and Miss. St ON signing day.
  14. Not at this point. Kid and mom absolutely love Texas. I think his mom might like Texas more just based off talking to her haha.
  15. Our countdown to kickoff continues with No. 73, a number represented by one of the best offensive linemen in Texas history and one of the most dominant defensive tackles the program has ever produced. Jonathan Scott clearly belongs in this discussion, as he earned unanimous All-American honors and helped lead Texas to the 2005 national championship. Shaun Rogers is right there with him, as a two-time All-Big 12 selection who enjoyed a lengthy NFL career that included three Pro Bowl appearances. The current No. 73 is Brandon Baker, the former five-star offensive tackle who started all 13 games at right tackle in 2025 and is expected to remain a cornerstone of the Longhorn offensive line entering the 2026 season. Who yall taking?
  16. Don't worry y'all we got him. Look for great things from him, but have patience we're young👀🔴
  17. Stay away from recruiting Mississippi like the plague. It's like it's still 1981 recruiting Marcus Dupree. Louisiana isn't much different.
  18. There's still quite a bit of ill-informed reporting on Swain out there. I watched some guy claim Swain couldn't handle the ball or pass, but for some reason a team can run offense through him. It's obvious these guys don't watch any film or simply don't know what they're talking about. Where do these guys come from?
  19. I agree with Gerry. Matas needs to show improved defensive movement, better processing on offense and defense (avoid silly fouls), more refined offensive skill to be a first rounder.
