  1. Past hour
  2. Was he wearing a visor? I think the sun’s getting to him.
  3. Stanford is a great academic school. Without question. However, to go somewhere where you don’t have an inkling who your head coach would be next year would be baffling given the amount of NFL money at stake, much less NIL money.
  4. Imagine having a plan and sticking to it. Spurrier just wanting people to pay attention to him so he's talking about Arch. Just like every Joe Schmo with a podcast.
  5. Really dumb comment by an ex HC. Quinn definitely had the experiential and analytic advantage. QB is not just a raw talent only position. Perhaps dementia gaining on the old QB? Just does not sound like something Spurrier would have said a decade or so before.
  6. Not the first time I’ve heard this argument
  7. That’s awesome! Cool to know the former longhorns that have become docs in addition to dr robin that said even if Turntine were to want to be a doc that would have to wait until he is done with an nfl career and he may be an early round pick with a long career. Rolle wasn’t in the nfl that long. And he took a Rhodes scholarship which looks pretty good on that med school app. Then neurosurg would be a seven year residency not counting additional years for fellowship. So it takes a rare breed to make a crap load of nfl money and then say I’m going to study like crazy for years then be on call every few nights for another 7 years.
  8. Stop chasing your tail Gerry!!
  9. There might not be a bigger buffoon in the history of college QB handing than Steve Spurrier. It looked at times like he was deliberately trying to ruin various QBs' careers on live TV. Him questioning Sarkisian on the subject matter is laughable.
  10. Lol Sark said he had never been to Austin and in his head he thought he was coming to Lubbock 🤣
  11. Never heard a man who loves to hear himself talk as much as Spurrier does.
  12. 5 out of seven. I think we can get 5 for 5 from this 2026 class if we get these five
  13. I like Klatt a lot, but the Michigan-Oklahoma game might only shape which team hits 8 wins this season.
  14. Here’s what he told Pat Dooley today: “Most people picking Texas to win the SEC. They’ve got Arch Manning already winning the Heisman too. My question is: if he was this good, how come they let Quinn Ewers play all the time last year? And he was a 7th round pick.”
  15. I'd put money on that.
  16. Mark McBath a form Texas QB is a accomplished cancer surgeon
  17. He would not being to medical school at Texas for this scenario, he would be doing the premed undergrad courses in the school of natural sciences and majoring in something like biology given that Texas does not have a premed designated major. Medical school is done after you take the prerequisites to take the MCAT and get your science hours. FYI you don’t have to graduate college to get into med school, people bypass that all the time (intellectual freaks). Sure he could go to a med school at / in Texas later on but Stanford does have an undergrad med school route that places you into their medical school after undergrad
  18. OL class success depends on NFL draft. There is potential for 2022 class to have 5 draft picks
  19. Quite the contrast from his previous Turntine stance
  20. In any case, no recruitment is over in July. Recruit through the whistle
  21. Their rivals guy has one in for Texas
