Appeared down the list some for Texas. Possible good news with Malakai Lee.

She's a long range sniper this offense desperately needs.

Ooh, mixed emotions for me watching this one. I was born in Charlotte and grew up on the Carolina coast not far from Michael Jordan's hometown. ACC basketball was about the only thing area teams were good at and I always pulled for UNC or Duke or NC State BB when they were good (I think 13 national titles between them since I was first watching). Attended Texas during the Abe Lemons years and really liked how his teams played. I even cheered for them when they beat NC State for the NIT championship one year (when fewer teams made the NCAA tourney and the NIT had good matchups). Probably gonna be pulling for Duke in this one though. Haven't really liked a Texas BB coach since Abe was fired. Sorry fellow Longhorns.

It’s official: CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The University of Texas Men’s Basketball team will face Duke University in the Dick Vitale Invitational at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on Tuesday, Nov. 4, ESPN Events in collaboration with the Charlotte Sports Foundation announced Monday. The Dick Vitale Invitational is a new men’s college basketball event that will annually honor Dick Vitale, the Hall of Fame broadcaster and one of the sport’s most iconic voices and ambassadors, who celebrates his 86th birthday today. The contest will mark the 2025-26 season opener for both teams. The game is scheduled to be televised nationally by ESPN, and the tip-off time will be announced at a later date.

Moss best outside receiver in the history of football. Couldn't stop him in man. Deion best man cover corner ever. Got smoked. Like Kobe against the Spurs one on one. Reason the pansies literally changed the rules.
-
True, but it doesn't change the statement. Jahdae didn't follow Smith. Man on man Jahdae would have shut down goober. Didn't have to do that. Not Deion against Randy Moss. Moss won against Deion by the way.

We also had Jadhae Barron in his $hit all game… that helps

Gerry said Texas couldn't stop Jeremiah Smith without playing press man. One catch for three yards. No press man. Played one corner with a safety over the top. Don't think Smith is the greatest receiver ever.

Ain't nothing compared to Mia Scott. Made every possible play. Reminds me of Kobe 2001. -
