  2. @Gerry Hamilton you are really high on Freeman. Can you tell us why you think he’s so good and why it hasn’t resulted in a title at Notre Dame? Like Sark, he seems to be a good, but not great head coach. I don’t see more than that in him. What am I missing?
  3. Per capita Louisiana is one of the best recruiting grounds in the country. The state does a really good job of funneling that talent and helping the talents family get jobs, move, etc so long as their kid goes to LSU. In Florida you are competing against FSU, Miami, Georgia, etc.
  4. 3 Stars of the Game vs. Mississippi State 2025 *** Star No. 1 – Arch Manning For my money's worth, that was the best game of Arch Manning's 2025 season. The first half statistically did not pop, but add in three drops to the review and he was actually spot on for most of the game. Manning still had a rough slant throw to Mosley on 3rd & 2, but other than that, he ended with 346 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, while adding two scrambles of 10+ yards as well. Star No. 2 – Ryan Niblett This individual season for Ryan Niblett has been like one I have never seen. Niblett has singled handedly been responsible for 24 points by himself over the last three weeks, all out of the punt return game. And credit to that unit a well, the blocking set up has been spectacular, and overall execution has been great. Star No. 3 – Ethan Burke Texas trusted Burke with the most snaps of his career and he came through with a very strong performance. A sack, two tackles for loss and a blocked field goal are all on the tally for Burke. It was interesting hearing from Burke postgame, the blocked field goal sequence is practiced step by step in practice. It isn't "Go be big!" but instead a closely monitored process that is mimicked in practice often throughout the week. HM1 Anthony Hill Jr. – Another weekend of being one of the top tacklers for the Longhorns, this time with 2.5 sacks added to the tally. HM2 Emmett Mosley V – The game-winning touchdown in overtime was a remarkable snag. I think Texas needs to redirect some targets this way to Mosley moving forward.

  5. Ten years ago, and I would agree with that. In today's landscape, Florida has a bigger denominator in the only metric that counts - $$$. LSU faces a different landscape now; all programs can do what they've been doing for years.
  6. Today
  7. Honestly, I think Purdue has a really good HC, the guy from UNLV who had that program humming. Despite their record this year, they look much improved from the past few years.
  8. I just hope we get 70 regular season games out of him this year ... would love to see what his season averages look like 32-33 ppg, 13-14 reb, 3.5-4 blocks with 150'ish made 3's
  9. Just missed a bunch of shots. It's hoops
  10. Solid, yes. They will always be an NCAA Tournamernt team, or right there if healthy.
  11. Never forget BK yelling at the officials when bama was blitzing with 4 mins to go up 30 points
  12. He’s a great fit for Northwestern or Purdue. Where you can win…or lose and the fan base knows you still play football. Most of them do anyway.
  13. Not for long, they are joining the big ten possibly as early as 2028
  14. I would personally be OK adding Harlem Berry and/or Jaden Baugh, to round out the wish list
  15. About to take Ole Miss to the playoffs
  16. If we could get Henderson from LSU, that would be crazy. Two 5 star Edges in the same class? That Edge room would be insane lol. Mack would be interesting but probably a stretch. Henderson we were at least in the mix for him weren't we? Brown I think it was between LSU and A&M, if he is to flip, it's probably there. Don't know much about Kent.
  17. I doubt he leaves ND tbh. Easier route to the playoffs, he's got a good Fr QB who he seems to be behind and he's recruiting at a high level. These teams will tempt him, but I think he stats put.
  18. I think Florida. With the game now, they have better NIL, more fertile recruiting ground in Florida, Georgia, the Carolina's, Alabama, etc. LSU is still good but I don't think it's better than Florida right now.
  19. Most of it not clean money.
  20. Totally agree. The stock market has tripled in ten years.
  21. If I am LSU and I can't get Lane, I go get Brohm or Sumrall down the road
  22. I’d prefer to go defensive background HC after the last two offensive geniuses.
  23. While this might be true it was still mind blowing that yesterday's win over OU was Kiffin's first road win over a ranked opponent. As much as we rag on Sark he's done that just about every year he's been here.
