  1. Past hour
  2. It was 4th and 6inches. A qb sneak gets that idk 95/100 times? Terrible play call. And even if it was a good scenario for that call, there were design issues. As shown in the video and from Sark’s mouth. Old Horn will probably just cover his ears and blame Arch for not lead blocking.
  3. Does anyone know which bench we have for the game against Baylor in San Antonio? There’s some nice affordable seats near the floor but I’m not keen on sitting around their fans.
  4. They explained in the video that the only way this play would work in this set up is if Shannon is lined up on the left side instead. But either way, a truly developed QB would've noticed the mismatch and either called an audible or timeout. Sark is at fault for a couple of the short distance playcalls that went wayward on money downs.
  5. I don't get why we just don't go empty spread formation in these situations and just run our 6'4 220 pound QB to pick up the first down.
  6. My checklist to help me prepare for Texas must-win game Saturday 1) Miller Lite(1st half) 2) Buffalo Trace(2nd half) 3) Gummies(Postgame cooldown) 4) 2 ibuprofen, 1 tylenol(Recovery) 5) Pedialyte(Recovery) 😄
  7. When there’s no threat of the pass the d can load the box and send six at will. Works both ways.
  8. When there is no threat of a running game and teams can pin their ears back in the pass rush and you never call a HB slip screen it's on the coaches. Sark picked his groceries and their running game is abysmal to help the pass.
  9. It is a very complicated offense that needs consistent elite execution for it to work. This is just stupid in today's college game, he needs to stop trying to get a NFL job and win college football games. He could dial up plays to make it easier to get Arch into some sort of rhythm, and if Arch still can't make it happen, then it's not going to happen for Arch. Consider how easy the Florida OC made the reads for Jones this past Saturday. Jones needed to make 2 throws all game.
  10. At this point - put Lacey in so people can shut up and realize it’s not Arch- and it’s OC Sark. This week has really made me upset to be a Longhorn. Sarks presser was the same old BS. He failed Arch incredibly.
  11. It’s the complement to the run sets up the pass. If defenses know you can’t handle pressure or see open receivers, they with send six often.
  12. Terrence Hill also got injured for Tennessee
  13. On this pic, if RG, RT, TE block down to the left and Terry gets the guy TE is blocking we have hat on hat. We only needed 2 yards. Again, who makes the blocking calls? That guy needs help or replaced. Y can’t we get “Omaha, Omaha” and everyone point to their guy.
  14. That actually makes a lot of sense - it's the reverse of 'the run sets up the pass' theory. When the opposing D knows that the short pass scenario is non existent they can concentrate on the run.
  15. Is this Arch trying to find open receivers he can’t see?
  16. As DKR told James Street when putting him in for Super Bill Bradley, “Aw hell, you can’t do any worse!”
  17. Trusting Arch could well be Sark’s downfall.
  18. and what if KJ Lacey goes out there and looks as bad as Arch? I’m just saying it starts at the top man. Arch is definitely broken but so is Sark, Kyle flood and AJ
  19. Yes, Ewers was a better QB than Arch.
  20. No kidding look at the teams Sark has put out on the field the past two years. And has has gotten out coached in the biggest of moments
  21. Funny you call Arch broken but I’m losing. Would Arch say he’s broken?
  22. Yup they have always been there, Sark was just saved by talent
