  1. Past hour
  2. The funny thing is that even though WH was 6’4 225, Sayin has a stronger arm than Will Howard. And when I say stronger, what I mean is he can throw the ball further than Will Howard. Can he throw it further and be as accurate? We will find out, but Sayin can launch the ball.
  3. Literally nothing I’ve ever seen about Sayin says indicates he has above average arm strength, including his HS tapes and the fact that he’s a skinny 5’11’’. He is accurate and has good arm talent. You’ll need to show me evidence to convince his actual arm strength is a strength. I haven’t even seen that in writing.
  4. No doubt. I also get that OL development is always a bit unpredictable and usually takes years. But IMO Flood has recruited too many projects and not enough elite prospects. It’s not all his fault—they clearly desperately wanted Fasusi last year, for instance. But the chickens have come home to roost a bit. As solid as OL recruiting has been under Sark, the difference between solid and elite very well could mean the difference between winning it all and not.
  5. Yeah, Tua was the most accurate deep ball thrower I have ever seen. I hope no Buckeye is comparing him to Tua. Sayin’s defining trait is his processing speed.
  6. I wouldn’t recommend basing anything off of spring games
  7. Exactly. Last year we lost 2 RB’s in the first couple of days of fall practice and we were extremely thin at RB the entire season. This year Goosby has an injury of some sort and our swing tackle is lost for the season so we are down to our 4th and 5th options at OT until Goosby is healthy. And our starting RT saw limited action last season as a true freshman. Like CJ said we are manufacturing depth with our top OL. In case of emergency, BREAK GLASS.
  8. We’ll see how athletic he is in real game time against a fast defense. Tua wasn’t immensely athletic compared to Quinn. Quinn was “sneaky” athletic himself. I don’t think Quinn’s athleticism was his weakness. Pocket presence and deep ball accuracy. Tua was absolutely better than Quinn on those two fronts (though it’s kind of an unfair comparison with Bama’s OL in front of him). I will need to see Sayin have success throwing deep before I compare him to Tua (that was Tua’s defining trait). If he is a short and intermediate range merchant with “arm talent”, he’s closer to Quinn.
  9. I get what you’re saying. But I also think solid OTs in the portal are a dime a dozen these days. And if in there, the price is hefty. Not an easy thing to just go and grab a quality guy there
  10. Can we just physically assault him at the LOS or is that still frowned upon?
  11. I wasn’t replying to you. I was replying to the Buckeye fan.
  12. I think he's closer to Tua than Quinn because he's a little more athletic than most give him credit for.
  13. Nobody less important has ever tried harder to make anonymous people think they’re more important. I’ll give you that.
  14. That's not what I said. I said I didn't powering the ball in tight windows. I didn't say he didn't have arm talent or inaccurate.
  15. I haven’t even seen Sayin be great at throwing long personally. And I agree, I haven’t seen any evidence either of throwing bullets into tight windows. He looks like Quinn Ewers to me. Like very much. If his pocket presence is better with better deep ball accuracy, he could be very good. He had a lot of time to throw in the spring game. He didn’t look fast on scrambles.
  16. Were they keeping his arm strength under wraps during the spring game? I think you might be confusing arm strength with arm talent/accuracy. https://youtu.be/mNHG4ZSQ0Tk?si=o8BAvzK2KoufZsTN
  17. Like I said, you have no clue, and you just proved it. That remains the only irony here.
  18. When watching the spring game or his time in against Michigan State I didn't see him powering the ball into tight windows. People confuse being able to throw far and a strong arm. Joe Milton has a strong arm, Will Howard had a strong arm, that's not what you get from Sayin.
  19. “But I’m the guy who helped with burnt ends. Did you hear me? Burnt Ends!” CTJ says as he fades into obscurity.
  20. Like I said, you have no clue. You've now called me a liar and fraud, however, without anything to support that. I don't get the personal attacks since I don't recall ever encountering your handle, but that kind of crap is more spineless forum behavior, for which you appear to excel. I don't really care if he really wanted me to kill myself or not. The mere act of telling someone to do so, however soft or indirect, is pathetic nonetheless.
  21. But you may be right on the 5-7 step drop backs. Texas’s front 6/7 might not allow that anyways
  22. Wow I showed up for the SEC Short and got a Sonic Smash Burger acting lesson from Terry Crews!! 😂
  23. Very interesting opinions. From all local reports, Sayin’s arm strength is one of his best attributes
