  1. Past hour
  2. if wingo doesn’t play the worst half of his life and we don’t have those BS turnovers, this game is not remotely close. They got bailed out by Jeremiah smith time after time. Glad we won the battle of adjustments for once.
  3. I don’t know but I’ll go with it!
  4. Love the comeback great freaking win but everyone besides Smothers, Mosley and the offensive line are going to need to play a lot better if they wanna win the natty though.
  5. That was the most miserable I’ve ever been at a game for 3 quarters. I was so pissed I didn’t buy a beer all game long, absolutely livid. What a turnaround in the 4th, I’m still in shock this does not feel real at ALL wow
  6. Flew Mom in from Montana for her 80th birthday celebration. Franklin BBQ for lunch. Longhorn win. Probably.
  7. Added this at the end: It’s going to take a minute to process everything that happened on Saturday. What felt like another chapter in the ongoing saga of the Longhorns failing to deliver when sharing the stage with Ohio State instead became an epic comeback, capping an unforgettable week on the Forty Acres. Instead of another version of Texas’ previous losses to the Buckeyes or Georgia, the Longhorns went back into their bag from last year’s comeback win over Texas A&M. Down at halftime after a mostly listless first half against a top-five opponent, Texas dug deep and gutted out a victory the hard way. Thankfully, that’s the performance the Longhorns replicated.
  8. I was thinking about this earlier in the week but over the last 3-4 years we have struggled to play 60 minutes of football no matter the team. this is what I want to change more than anything. We got lucky tonight.
  9. TRUE GRIT!!! "Arch Hero Mode" ...and a Special Thank you to the entire Texas Longhorn Coaching Staff and Football Team! Hook'em! 🤘 🤠 🇨🇱
  10. The difference for Texas in this game. 2 penalties for 12 yards. 100% RZ execution, with 1 FG after a dropped TD and 3 TDs. Two things that have dogged Sarkisian's teams in big games.
  11. A lot of funny sh”t from many on these boards tonight, but this one made me laugh the loudest. Post of the night Had both truth and humor😂
  12. This was the best game I've ever seen at DKR!!!!!
  13. Added this bit on Arch Manning's night: The All-22 film of Manning’s night will be picked apart in the coming week. Manning's first two and a half quarters were a worst-case scenario for any quarterback in a big game. When he wasn’t missing reads or open windows, Manning’s receivers let him down. With a comfortable lead, Matt Patricia dropped defenders into coverage to deny him deep shots. Thankfully, things changed on the Longhorns’ last three possessions and by the time he ripped a second-and-7 completion to Mosley for 19 yards down the Ohio State 1-yard line with 1:19 to play, he was locked in and dealing. Manning went 8-for-11 for 67 yards and a touchdown on the second play of the fourth quarter (a 3-yard toss to Ryan Wingo). Manning's second half (16-for-23 for 136 yards) was much better than his first two quarters (7-for-14 for 60 yards and an interception). Manning's two most important completions came on fourth down: a fourth-and-6 scramble that resulted in a 9-yard completion to Emaree Winston en route to the first touchdown of the game and a 12-yard strike to Mosley on fourth-and-6 to keep a 13-play, 72-yard touchdown drive alive. Even though Smothers (21 carries for 74 yards and two touchdowns) and Raleek Brown (54 yards on 10 carries) helped the offense grind out long drives in the second half, Manning wasn’t a bus driver on Saturday. In program history, only Colt McCoy’s comeback win over Oklahoma State 19 years ago (38-35 in Stillwater, with Ryan Bailey booting home the game-winning 40-yard field goal as time expired) saw Texas overcome a larger deficit than the one Manning and the Longhorns faced against the Buckeyes. It wasn’t always pretty, but Manning executed when it was do-or-die down the stretch, which is what the great ones do.
  14. Wish Derek Cooper was healthy. Have a feeling we could dish more punishment if he was available
  15. OL was the MVP. Just kept grinding away all game and I don't recall any procedure penalties.
  16. I was a bit iffy on Flood, too. But I 100% give props to him, they were relentless. Those boys kicked ass. I don't recall seeing Seymore though, did Sikorski play all game?
