  1. Past hour
  2. I get where you're coming from and I agree... but let's not act like Bama doesn't have a great scheme for WRs and that more than likely they're gonna have a capable QB one way or the other... They're also really dang close to home, which maybe is important to him... They're also gonna make him a pretty good offer
  3. His WR coach is there though and that is who recruitied him at Auburn.
  4. I meant as far as the portal losses go, we are being particularly stingy with the rev share allotments, because we have limited ability to execute above the cap NIL deals the way other schools are. (See LSU's offer to Sorsby).
  5. Moving forward I think TX will have smaller recruiting classes they will target 7-8 5⭐️and the rest will be developmental 3 ⭐️players. It sucks because I really liked following recruiting classes & now it just somewhat irrelevant college football has changed for the worst
  6. It just makes zero sense to me. A big reason for leaving Auburn was qb uncertainty. It would seriously have me questioning his decision-making if he left Auburn for Bama.
  7. Bobby already said it doesn't mean much. Seems alabama is probably gonna push the "stay at home" card pretty heavily and I'm sure the money will be nice. Also, they got a great WR coach and DeBoer's scheme is pretty dang good.
  8. Amazing, that social media team should get a raise!
  9. My hope on Uluave is that we beat Michigan’s BAFO by six figures like we did for Sprague. We clearly lost Sprague because of his personal ties to Michigan, which Uluave doesn’t have. I know UM has NIL, but they’re not playing to win against Texas thus far. I know money-whipping players hasn’t worked out well so far, but I kinda like our chances here.
  10. Ty Simpson is going to the NFL. What does this mean for Coleman’s visit to Alabama???
  11. Just thought this was funny
  12. “Marcel Reed Portapotty” located in college station has a nice ring to it

  14. Was a freak for me at Michigan St in ncaa 26. Gimme. Also my sister goes to Pitt.
  15. VY’s Steakhouse is hitting the portal
  16. I’d rather have Julio Jones not Zay Flowers.
  17. It’s been a little too quiet on the forty since early this morning! I want some commits!!
  18. I didn’t make this but this had me dying lmao
  19. Trying to decipher what an Ag’s point is is like trying to decipher why they play football on a dead dog graveyard. It’s like trying to smell a fart in the wind.
  20. I will make a more detailed post later. Essentially rev share is money coming directly from school to player. Each school has a “cap” amount they can distribute across all of their programs, around $20.5 million. Football gets a large chunk of that. NIL can come from third parties. This is where schools are trying to get creative. A new entity, called the College Sports Commission, was created to enforce NIL. All NIL deals over a certain threshold (believe $600) have to be reported to the CSC. The CSC then evaluates the deal to see if it’s fair. They ask questions like “does it have a valid business purpose” and “is the money aspect of this deal fair in regards to the market.” Then they approve or deny the deal. They have denied a good amount of deals, which is where you’re starting to see some differences. Some schools are essentially daring the CSC to try and enforce the rules, others are not.
