Califashorn75 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Do most football players live on campus? Or is that typically for freshman athletes? With NIL, three or four dudes can rent a nice house together. I would love to have the TANK where one could pick up a great meal all day. Quote
FaxMachine Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago We are one of the few major universities that do not have a dedicated athlete housing facility. It’s not just about football, but all athletics. 1 Quote

There used to be a requirement that at least freshman athletes live on campus. They were originally in Jester and then moved to San Jacinto when that dorm initially opened. Not sure where they are these days. I think living on campus is an important of college experience for all students if at all possible, including athletes. And with the mercenary nature of college football these days anything you can do to make them feel like more connected to the university would seem to be a good thing. Quote
