HookemTexas
Rod mentioned on the latest show that if Sark doesn't think Helm is a difference maker that he won't scheme him. And you'll see it I. The first few games. This made me think, once a defensive coordinator sees that, wouldn't he then scheme accordingly? Like rotate a weaker defender over to Helm knowing he's not a threat. It kind of reminds me of when ou would put in Blake Bell, I would scream that it's an obvious run and was utterly confused why Texas didn't sell out on the line knowing it was a 99% chance it was a run. Any help in understanding the thought processes of the defense would be appreciated.
Hornmatic
Sark is good at breaking tendencies. So even if usage trends in one direction, he can exploit matchups later. Remember the Iowa St game when Helm was dialed up on some plays you might have expected for JT.
Neil Leininger
He schemed him pretty well in the OU and ISU games.

Even last year when Helm was the 4th/5th option on most plays, Sark still dialed up some plays for him. What is a defense really going to do about it? Helm isn’t going to see a top cover guy from the secondary. If he does it’s because the defense screwed up, likely because Sark schemed up a way to get a LB or Safety on a WR.
