GoHorns1 Posted Sunday at 08:07 PM Posted Sunday at 08:07 PM (edited) Texas should be the #2 overall 1 because Texas beat UCLA head to head, played and beat more top ranked teams than UCLA. Plus Texas deserves the Fort Worth Region. Edited Sunday at 08:08 PM by GoHorns1 3 Quote
Califashorn75 Posted Monday at 02:30 AM Posted Monday at 02:30 AM As usual, our defense was outstanding. Bama has one great player. The others not so much. Booker played a very good game. 1 Quote
LonghornFan4Ever Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM Author Posted yesterday at 01:30 PM Imo the ideal path to a national championship for this team is winning the SEC tournament. If the projected bracket remains mostly intact, Texas could jump South Carolina for the 3 seed. Win R64 and R32 in the Moody. Go to Fort Worth for their regional S16 and E8 games. If they win those four, assuming no upsets, they would get UCLA in the F4 instead of UConn or South Carolina. Let UConn and South Carolina beat each other up in the F4. I think Texas is a bad matchup for UCLA and Texas could beat them in a rematch to play for a national title. Would be a 50-50 game between Texas and the UConn/South Carolina winner. 2 Quote

Califashorn75 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago S. Carolina already blasting Kentucky in front of a huge home crowd. Who in the f chose that site as being permanent? It needs to be rotated. It's not fair they get that advantage every year! Come on CDC! Quote

Most of the teams located at tournament sites seem to have a massive advantage, only Nebraska fails in baseball for Omaha. Off the top of my head: OU for softball ncaa championship Nebraska for volleyball ncaa championship (though it now rotates with about 3 other locations) Kansas for big 12 bball championships Their fans downplay it, especially sooners (because they are brain dead), but the ability for your fans logistically to show up is a massive advantage for momentum and support. It's always easier to play in front of a home crowd than it is a hostile crowd. For every rule, there's an exception and that is college station, apparently that's not really a home crowd advantage even though their fans are crazy loud and rowdy lol. 1 Quote
Califashorn75 Posted 44 minutes ago Posted 44 minutes ago LSU is blasting OU sucks. 72-49 end of 3. LSU vs S Carolina will be great tomorrow. Quote
