We don't only have 4 days to sign these guys.  The portal closes in 4 days for players to enter.  We can still sign them after the fact.

That's one of the craziest things to say. Brooks would have been our LT after Goosby left, and OTF has repeatedly said that Brooks has the potential to be the highest draft pick out of last year's class.
