Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 16 hours ago Moderators Posted 16 hours ago ESPN Way-Too-Early All-American Team (5 Longhorns on 1st team) QB, WR, OT, EDGE and LB. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47887250/2026-college-football-way-too-early-all-america-team 1. I think this is really good way-too-early list. 2. If Texas has all five of these hit, they will have a top 6 level team come CFP time because the starts will have been stars (performance and health). 12 Quote
SarkFiction Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Not a single Aggie on there. I keep seeing pundits talk about how the Aggies are about to make a big move under Elko, and that we're battling with them for state superiority. Not a single Aggie on this list. I honestly don't know how state superiority is in question. We've beaten them 3 straight times, and we're gonna make it 4. Tech at least had 3 Way Too Early 2026 All-Americans. They are #2 in the state. Aggies will always ag. 3 Quote

WRNC Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Not a single "the greatest ever" "historic portal haul" by "Portal King" Legacy on there? Whit Weeks was recruited by Brian Kelly. Quote

Regarding point #2, what do you think is the “sweet spot” as far as playoff seeding is? I don’t want the first round bye Quote
RattlerHorn Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Nice list, I hope that our guys hit big this year. If they do, they'll have a great chance to hit their goals. I wish we had ND's Leonard Moore from Round Rock, top rated corner. Quote
Rocky P Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Im calling it. Jelani supplants bolden on this list. Quote

That delusional fan base is prolly thinking national championship or bust after their CFP participation trophy. Edited 11 hours ago by NothinButDaHorns34 1 Quote

Only thing to give the Aggies credit for was getting the right schedule. Georgia has been the dominant team in the SEC for the last 5 years and A&M hasn't played them once in that span meanwhile we've been in the conference 5 mins and have had to play them 3 times. They avoid them again this year too. 1 Quote

I don’t want the first round bye In that scenario … no way for to say one way or the other Have to see where Texas’ team health is. And … Texas needs to win the SEC too I would choose the bye if forced to Quote
