Volantis was so good in the closer role last year. I am really interested to see if he can become a quality starter.

Thanks to a snag by Borba on a hard-hit liner to first, Volantis avoids getting burned by hitting the second batter of the inning. Borba's unassisted double play gets the game to the bottom the second, still scoreless.
