Alex C Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Saw the Vikings post on his passing. He was always a dude that I regret not getting to campus. He broke out his freshman year at Purdue on a national level with highlights.... Talk about tough to do at Purdue. Then he was able to make it to the league and was sticking around and had the tools to break through. Sorry to hear this news and thoughts and prayers to his family. Califashorn75 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Back to back knee injuries are brutal. Sad he wasn't able to get help. Quote
CHorn427 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago He was that generation of college player that just missed the boat on NIL. To have missed that, then have had the extremely difficult NFL career he had I’m sure was mentally breaking. Horrible. There are a ton of guys that are in very similar predicaments. Moore’s friends and family and all other guys suffering through similar circumstances need our prayers 2 Quote

Moore’s friends and family and all other guys suffering through similar circumstances need our prayers I remember (I think) that he considered the Longhorns and I was hopeful that he would commit to play football at Texas. Very sad situation and is a reminder of how difficult things can seem, and especially having just missed out on the NIL era, as you noted. RIP Rondale Moore Quote
GetHooked Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) So sad when a 25 year old with his whole life in front of him feels like his life is not worth living. RIP Edited 4 hours ago by GetHooked Quote

He had a great interview that showed maturity beyond his age. He had so much more to give to life than just football on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. 1 Quote

I think his high school coach took the Purdue job and convinced him to drop Texas, something like that ... He was here in Arizona for a while, a 2nd round draft pick by the Cards, but never quite got over the hump. RIP 1 Quote

Getting older isn't easy. Appreciate your research on this because it has really saddened me to see such a talented young man fail to realize a dream because of the factors involved impacting his life. Once again, RIP Rondale Moore. Quote
