    I, as a Spurs fan, vote that the NBA does a 14 game Finals of 2 12 minute halves. I feel like the spurs would sweep just about everyone in 8 games.... see, problem solved, and my heart and blood pressure will thank them.

    Tldr: I live in KC. We drive by a big convention center last night where I see 2 ugly ass busses. Me: "Oh, those Oklahoma buses are here for the baseball games." (Lawrence is only 30 or so minutes away) Wife: "what did you say about homeless busses?" A perfectly misheard sentence.

    Loved seeing CDC out there hugging the team and celebrating. I know he gets credit for brining in good cosches- well deserved- but it's cool seeing the business guy being passionate about the teams and players. We got a real one and he is great for Texas.

    Saw the Vikings post on his passing. He was always a dude that I regret not getting to campus. He broke out his freshman year at Purdue on a national level with highlights.... Talk about tough to do at Purdue. Then he was able to make it to the league and was sticking around and had the tools to break through. Sorry to hear this news and thoughts and prayers to his family.

    As a Spurs fan, I support this message. He was about 6-8 and played like he was a 7 footer. Great effort and culture dude.

    To the two above posts, yes of course. If we end up in the playoffs and SEC championship we would play 2, 3, or 4 games against top 12 competition. We did play a number of top 12 anyway (regular season) whereas the only real top 12 team they played was Oregon until they got to the Big 10 champ game. I am not taking anything away from them because they handled their business, but their SOS for the regular season is not comparable. Even if the SEC is not as dominant at the top post Saban, it is still king of the competitive depth and the regular season SOS bore that out. (The top 10 sos was like 8 or 9 SEC teams)

    Truth in what you are saying, but IU did have a weak schedule. So, fair point, but they probably are 5th, 6th, or 7th toughest if they end up on our schedule

    Saw this today and honestly, I think that man continues to prove he is smart and knows ball. UT above TT, OU, and A&M, BYU at 14.... Just a couple of good points in terms of season ranks. I do question Vandy so low and Iowa so high, but over all a very solid top 10 and good top 25.

    I have been struggling to understand/ categorize the Mendoza hype and seeing him when he is interviewed. Coach Ship just called said after the game he goes into "goof mode" and I laughed and could not put it better. In modern internet terms, he has zero aura or rizz.... a very odd duck, indeed. And now he likely will be living in Sin City with the trash franchise of the Raiders.... that will be an interesting sitcom. In other news, I would like to coin his "Heisman moment" (even though it was after he won) as the Divesman. Thank you. i will be here all week
