— Another SEC loss to Texas

— No trip to the conference title game

It’s kind of hilarious that Elko paraded this around at the beginning of the season and literally has nothing to show for it outside of a participation trophy in the CFP.

I can’t wait for Looch’s gymnastics of how this upcoming A&M team is going to be better after losing 15 draftable players, even though Texas couldn’t because it “lost too much.”

They had the perfect storm this past season with: easy schedule, upper class oline, lots of returning players from the previous year, good portal class … and yet nothing to show for it other than a good record padded by easy wins.

They are going to find out this year how hard it is to replace experience and continuity.

It was soooo poetic how they pounded their chest on how they were going to blow us out in Austin after the Florida loss just to come into Austin, with conference championship aspirations on the line, in typical aggie, They lay an egg.

I wonder if the top 4 draft producers have ever underperformed as much as this group.
