Is Tinney a head case right now?

No. He’s struggling, but there’s no reason to believe it’s some sort of issue right now.

He’s still walking and hitting for power plenty. OPS over 1.000.

He’ll be fine

Yea that’s where I’m at… If Tinney is our biggest concern this year with an OPS over 1.000 and 4 tanks, this team will be in Omaha competing for a title.

I was worried that this weekend series would be 21 innings of baseball but glad to see the Spartans hanging in there.  They used to be the USC Spartanburg Rifles but had a PC rebrand a la the Washington Bullets in the mid 2000's.  I spent so much time on that campus for all my sports camps growing up.

Dirt ball after dirt ball

Grubbs has been a bit disappointing for me this season but it's early, hoping he has some better outings.

What's with the glove over the ear for the pitcher?

He’s trying to hear the pitch call via the pitch comm in his cap
