This team has not played consistently good baseball for three weeks now.   We've been statistically lucky in close games.  Those games will average ~.500 over a season.

The concern rn is without arod is this team going on a series losing streak. Today was bad and it wasnt just pitching it was fielding, hitting, energy, etc.

Huh? We are 3-2 in one run games, with both losses being games where we had multi-run leads in the 9th.

That isn’t lucky at all. Could be argued it’s actually the opposite.

Idc about mid weeks. It could easily be argued they should’ve been undefeated in sec play before tonight. It’s baseball you won’t go undefeated..

I’m not “panicking” but I think there are some worrying trends that have shown themselves this season, mainly the inability to generate runs with RISP.

We are going to lose multiple series this year. It’s just going to happen. This league is too tough.

We lost 2 series last year and still won 22 games lol.

Yes we didnt play a good team today and got destroyed. It's also not the losing part, it's about the fall off on defense this team has seen with the shifting needed to take place.

Offensively we have potential but I was expecting far more from Schloss’s teams. At A&M, he had 3 elite offenses in each of his seasons. I know we’ve had bad injury luck,but we’re way too inconsistent at the plate.

Midweek games count, especially losses against bad teams, but did you watch us blow leads against Ole Miss and Auburn and then have to walk off two squeakers at home against OU?  Two of our starters have been ineffective in the past week of conference play.
