They have been playing better since the coach firing and should have took 2 of 3 from Arkansas.

They have SEC caliber players. It happens.

I mean I get it happens but stuff that is happening in these games is the same stuff that happened against tarleton and they don’t have SEC caliber players.

Right - we lost to Tarleton State, we’ve done worse

We are going to lose at least 8-10 more games even if this is a GREAT year and several will be to teams who don’t belong on the field with us.

It’s baseball. Look around the league and every team has been through a “tough stretch”, and I put tough stretch in air quotes because we hadn’t even lost back to back games all year.

We swept OU. Beat Auburn 2 out of 3 on the road.

Are we just naming random results from the season? I guess it’s not surprising you harp on the lowest points while ignoring the really high ones in a sport that has 55+ data points.

Our bullpen sucks.

Nevermind Vandy beat Tenn 16-15.  LSU beats Kentucky 17-10.  That was just Sunday.

Everyone but Robbins and Ermis has regressed towards their mean avg.

Tinney, Borba, Pack has held decently steady.

Mendoza’s mean average then would be like .240, so my point is actually strengthened

2 things can be true at the same time. 1) this is only 1 game. In the grand scheme of things, if we win tomorrow and Saturday, this is small peanuts and can be written off as a bad game and “it happens” 2) it’s okay to acknowledge our hitting has not been good enough last season and this season so far. That can change but it’s fair to admit it at this point.
