Base Defense (Gerry/Bobby)

On the defensive depth chart you had 13 positions listed.  What are the 11 positions in a base defense?  Not necessarily the players names, but the positions.  I know it is different on 1st & 10 vs 3rd & 15.  But the majority base.  Thx.

The Saban tree of defense is a base 3-4. 

 

DL: NOSE END Tackle 

Backers: Jack/Will Mac Money Sam 

2 Corners, 2 Safeties.

 

If they're in Nickel it becomes 

 

DL: Nose Edge Tackle 

Backers: Jack Mac Money 

DBs: Star, 2 Corners, 2 Safeties. 

 

In Dime, they replace the Money with a DB, they keep the name as the money.
