Texas made a couple of offers to young OL's, including a 2028 that is said to be a future "first round draft pick". OnTexasFootball is hearing the Longhorns are expected to offer at least two 2027 DL and LB types today, or this week. I have been advocating for Texas to make a move to recruit top international prospects for a while now, and am very excited they brought a big group to campus and have begun this process. The raw talent is a hand picked best of the best scenario with NFL Academy. They have a number of future pro's making all the college campus stops. In the 105 scholarship day and age, taking elite level athletes that are raw and sponges to coaching is wise. Especially on the DL and OL. They also aren't NIL recruitments, at this point, and are truly looking for opportunity without unrealistic expectations. 16 Quote
