Horns7 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If so, how important? Did Miami peak at the right time last year? Did Ohio State Peak at the right time the year before? Did Texas Peak at the right time 2 years ago ? Quote

hookem1014 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Miami and Ohio State peaked in the sense they were clicking on all cylinders especially defensively once the CFP came around. 2024 Texas had some question marks throughout the season that followed them til the end, particularly o line/run game/red zone and Quinn’s inconsistencies (health was major factor there). To answer the question, peaking at the right time is important in all sports. Especially with an expanded CFP, there’s a little more margin for error earlier on than later in the season. Even 2024 ND made the natty after losing to NIU early. Edited 1 hour ago by hookem1014 Quote
