If I'm not at the stadium I can't watch it unless I'm at home on the couch. Need to hear the broadcast and can't stand watching Texas games in a bar or loud environment that isn't the stadium. Other CFB games are a diff story though

Iowa Colony lost its QB who was an OKST commit. His dad is an assistant coach who left Iowa Colony to take a job at Fort Bend Hightower over the offseason and his son went with him. Also a really good baseball player. The Iowa Colony vs. Randle game will be closer than Randle's last few games, but Randle should win big this year. Probably won't need LWC a ton that game like they did vs. SOC or Westfield

Lmao. This reminded me of a story no one asked for. One of my buddies (Nate) growing up was a really good soccer player that also kicked for the football team. He eventually earned a walk-on spot as a kicker at TCU. One of our middle school coaches was former Texas walk-on WR and FG holder Cade McCrary. He was like 1-2 years out of college and was super fun to be around. Well sometimes during special teams practice, he'd tell Nate to purposely kick the ball at the back of the OL during FG and PAT segments just like that video. And for no reason other than it was hilarious. During kickoff segments, he'd always make the front row of the kick return scout team consist of the fattest kids on the team, so the OL. I remember in 7th grade one day we were practicing a few onsides, and McCrary and Nate got the idea to kick the ball as hard as he could at one of the OL to see if they could dodge it in time. Nate ended up kicking the ball so hard it got stuck in our center's facemask 10 yards away, who could not dodge it in time since he was like 240 pounds as a 12-13 year old. A few guys on the kickoff team ran and decleated him and the ball popped out of his facemask on the hit like it was a cartoon. I think it was the hardest I've ever laughed in my life. McCrary was just hilarious to be in practice with. We'd be in warmups and he'd have a coach drive the golf cart around the field as he stood on the back of it throwing footballs trying to earhole us in the side of the helmet lol. And the OL would have to sometimes catch punts for us to not do conditioning. 7th and 9th grade football was the most fun I ever had playing sports

Not Hank, but all the TEs on the room can come back next year which will make it pretty difficult. Masunas technically runs out of eligibility but he should be able to get a waiver for a 6th year since he did a regular redshirt year then got hurt 4 games into his redshirt sophomore year. And if Williams does have a path, a lot of that could depend on how much weight he can add in the winter and spring. He's 6-5, 225-230ish and has frame space to put on 15-20 more pounds. By the time he's done at Texas he should be at least 245.

He's the most fluid and the smoothest mover of all the guys they've signed at TE. He's almost like a big receiver with the way he moves. He's a pass catching TE who will be able line up anywhere but is also big enough and willing enough to be the primary TE in the offense. Needs to add weight and physically develop though so the winter and spring will be really big for him

To provide some context CJ Stroud and Bijan were both in the HS class of 2020 Chambliss was 2021 and has been in college for 6 years Even crazier than that is the fact that backup Texas WR Sterling Berkhalter was in the same HS class as Stroud and Bijan. Berkhalter did a year of prep school in the 2020 season, then did 2 years at North Carolina A&T, 2 years at Cincy, and 1 year at Wake Forest before coming to Texas. Berkhalter was able to play this year since he redshirted in 2021 than had a medical redshirt in 2023, but the medical redshirt wasn't actually approved as a redshirt year until the NCAA gave him a waiver upon entering the portal this past offseason. On the same note, Darius Snow was also class of 2020 out of HS but was at Michigan State all 6 years before transferring to Texas. Like Berkhalter, he was also able to play this year due to several redshirt seasons he got cleared through the NCAA. Just crazy to think Berkhalter and Snow are in their 7th year removed from graduating HS and are in their 6th or 7th year of college. Additional info from Justin Hokanson of the Auburn On3 site — This dude was a maniac *** "Jenrath was part of Hugh Freeze’s staff, and the new staff under Alex Golesh allowed him to stay on and earn an opportunity with the program. He worked in more of a student-assistant type role. According to those sources, Jenrath was dismissed from Auburn’s football staff during the baseball Super Regional weekend after staff members saw him in the student section during a game. The sources said he had previously told Auburn personnel that he was sick and was not working because of that illness. After staff members saw him at the game, he was fired. The sources said tensions remained between Jenrath and members of the Auburn football staff following his departure. In late July, an anonymous email was sent to football personnel at roughly 11 other schools. The email came from an address using the name “Don Julio” and included 12 documents as attachments. Sources said 10 of those documents contained recruiting evaluations involving prospects in Auburn’s 2027, 2028 and 2029 recruiting classes. The material included evaluations and notes from coaches and personnel staff about recruits. The email’s subject line was also reportedly Golesh’s home address. Several schools that received the email reportedly forwarded the material back to Auburn. Good on them for doing that, by the way. Auburn personnel turned the information over to the Auburn Police Department. Investigators were eventually able to trace the email address back to Jenrath, according to sources. The sources said Jenrath also continued contacting members of the Auburn football staff after the documents were distributed. They described anonymous phone calls in which the caller would remain silent before saying “Don Julio” and hanging up. Sources also said Jenrath had recently posted on Instagram about having connections to people at Vanderbilt and Tennessee, and claimed to have provided information to them. Those sources said they were not aware of any additional sensitive Auburn information being provided to Tennessee. Auburn, of course, plays at Tennessee this weekend. The documents that were distributed did not contain Auburn’s playbook, NIL information or other details that would reveal the program’s plans, according to the sources. Instead, the information consisted primarily of recruiting evaluations and coaches’ notes about prospects. A source familiar with the investigation said Auburn personnel believed the coaches’ evaluations and internal assessments qualified as trade secrets, which ultimately led to the criminal complaint. The timing of the arrest also came shortly before Auburn’s trip to Tennessee. Sources said Auburn personnel wanted the situation addressed before the team traveled to Knoxville because of concerns that Jenrath could appear at the team’s hotel or otherwise cause a disruption. According to the sources, a warrant was issued last week and Jenrath was notified that he needed to turn himself in. He did so Monday morning and was later released on bond.
